The Forsyth Park House was built in 1893 and has been perfectly renovated to preserve its original beauty yet offer modern amenities. *Please note that our facility is an inn and is not a bed and breakfast. There is a coffee station, mini refrigerator, microwave and toaster in each guest room. All four guest rooms have luxurious linens and a private bath. Our house has all the characteristics of a 19th century Victorian style home including bay windows, sash windows, transoms, multiple porches and balconies, original hardwood floors, 9 fireplaces, and a Mansard slate roof.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Forsyth Park House at the end of September. On our week-long trip to Savannah and the Golden Isles we stayed at a different place each night, and we both agreed that Forsyth Park House was our favorite. It really felt like you were staying at a friend's house, it was that level of comfort. Christy was very warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home from minute one. The House strikes a perfect balance between the comfortable feel of home BUT with the level of privacy one desires when staying away from home. We stayed in Sienna's chambers, the smallest of the rooms (I believe) but it was roomy, and the bathroom was nice and large. There is a small side balcony you can walk out on to have a cup of coffee or to relax with a book. It would be hard to pick the best part of the stay but when it comes down to it, the bed was AWESOME. It was so soft, the sheets silky, and so conducive to a great's night sleep. So, two thumbs way up for Forsyth Park House! If we are down south in that area again we will definitely be returning!

I was very impressed by not only the feel of the Collat Ballroom, but also by the extreme care that is taken by Christie to ensure that her guests have a pleasant experience. The house itself was beautifully decorated and had a distinct feel of "home". We were greeted by Christie as soon as we arrived and she did not hesitate to make us feel welcome. The Collat Ballroom was a beautiful room, which had plenty of room (there were four of us staying there) and the amenities were perfect for us. We had a fresh basket of bread/pastries and fruit each morning and the staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating. The first night we were there, the room was a bit warm, and as soon as we commented on it the next morning, we had extra fans in our room and we were asked about the comfort level in the room. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and I would recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone wanting a comfortable, convenient place to stay while in Savannah.

This was my first B&B experience. So, I really had no idea what to expect. I enjoyed the stay and the flexibility afforded to guests.

How to begin. Well.... 4 girlfriends since middle school drive 4 hrs from Atl and arrive at this beautiful home! The owner Christie greets us with a smile and an adorable dog! As we get in the home; Christie realized she had made a mistake and over booked. YIKES! But we had a plan. Not only did she fix and resolve this mishap; while the four of us headed out for touring, we came back to this beautiful home and found all our belongings moved to HER MASTER SUITE! With candles burning, the TV set up to a movie we all talked about wanting to see and yummy snacks at the table! I not only call this generous, I CALL THIS SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY! A very warm and welcoming stay! I would recommend this to everyone! Great location, across from a gorgeous park! When we were saying our good byes; Christie handed one of us a generous gift of cash and bought us lunch for her mishap! Thank you Christie for allowing all of us to make memories in your home! This bed and breakfast was a mixed bag. The house was great, the room was great, the location was great. The breakfast was just a couple of apples and one banana and some bread. There was coffee you could make but no tea. Apparently there is little insulation between floors. They rented the 3rd floor to a group of spring break girls. They were very noisy and we had to call to complain. That issue was finally resolved close to midnight.

While it is in the heart of the historic district..and a very cool place, I think the cost for the breakfast provided is a bit high. It is just fruit and some bread. It might be nice to provide some locally baked goods or egg sandwiches made locally from the coffee shop at the end of the park...which is where we went to get breakfast. Other than that the room was lovely, the inn keeper very nice and it was fun to open the door in the a.m. and have extra basket of fruit waiting for us. I own a bakery and I think it would be nice way to tie the community if she is able to provide some breakfast goodies made locally.

My parents and my husband and I had a brief getaway in Savannah. We stayed at the Collat House in their Ballroom, which is extremely spacious. We were greeted by the owner's friend who provided us with the house information and how to call or contact the owner if we needed anything. We also had a "visitor" as we enjoyed the company of the house cat, Althea who nestled with us and purred and loved on us. The home is directly across from Forsyth park and it is just close enough to the attractions to not be distracted by the city comings and goings. It was a lovely visit! Hopefully we can return another time.

Hi! Traveling, music, and the ocean are three things that are near and dear to my heart. It is a blessing to live in such a beautiful city that is great to come home to, and I love sharing our little corner of Savannah with our guests. As a host, I use "the Golden Rule" and try to create an environment that I would want to be in as a guest. Cleanliness and comfort (i.e. nice towels and sheets) are always a priority. Welcome!
