My husband and I stayed for just one night for our anniversary and it was fabulous. The house was beautiful and the owners were wonderful. We will definitely stay again, we are even talking about making it a tradition for our anniversary. I have told all my friends and family about it and have recommended them stay.

The 12 Oaks is a beautiful bed and breakfast to stay at. From the minute I arrived I was welcomed. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the house is immaculate.

The breakfast was amazing each morning. It was fresh, homemade food. The staff was friendly and helpful. They are available to help you find things to do, share about the history of the home, or anything else you need. Each evening there is a turn down service while you enjoy some wine and cheese. It was a very relaxing stay and we enjoyed all of it.

The Twelve Oaks is absolutely GORGEOUSl! Our hosts were very friendly and answered all our questions regarding this incredible home. We were invited to explore any of the three floors of this beautiful antebellum home. I was very impressed how extremely clean every thing was in the entire home and how we could make this home our very own for the time we were there. You can just feel the love & pride Nicole & John have for this beautiful home and they want to share this with their guests. YES!! I will absolutely revisit this incredible mansion and go back in time.........Sincerely, Lynn & Rick Fior

Beautiful home, lovely rooms... Only thing lacking was info on the house while we were there, mostly our fault got not asking, we just thought someone might come out at wine/cheese time or even breakfast to provide some history. Stunning home all the same!

My wife and I stayed in the Breakfast at Tiffany's room on the top floor just for one night on our way to the airport after our wedding, and it was exquisite! Unfortunately, we got in late and were too tired to get up for breakfast (which I hear is pretty good), but the room and the Inn as a whole was perfect! We felt like we were staying in a contemporary version of one of those mansions you see in movies/TV show set in the early 1900s. The bed was very comfortable, the decor was picturesque, and the grounds were beautiful. We did take advantage of the Keurig in the lobby of the 3rd floor on our way out. We hope to come back sometime when we have more time to enjoy this beautiful place!

We live in the Atlanta area and have driven by Twelve Oaks many times. This time we made time to stay. And we are so glad we did! The home is just beautiful. Everyone was pleasant, those working and guests alike. Friends' son had narrowed their wedding site to two locations. Our outstanding experience broke the tie!
This room is on the first floor and has a beautiful view of the massive columns on two sides of the house. It features an antique queen size tester canopy bed. The lavish white marble bathroom has a large, two-person spa rain shower with three separate rain heads. This room has one of the largest fireplaces complete with a remote control. It also has a 55" LED tv.
This fabulously large and elegant room tucked away on the 3rd floor features a gorgeous replica of an antique copper bateau tub; soak in the history as you look out the original French-style leaded glass windows or take in the original brick wall. Warm up by your fireplace complete with remote so you can adjust the fire from the gorgeous hand-carved antique king bed. This room has an enormous carrara marble shower with two rain heads and a spa-like bench with hand shower for relaxing and staying a while. This is luxury at its finest.
This grand 2nd floor suite with a king bed gives you the once in a lifetime experience of taking a shower in a very rare antique luxury shower from the late 1800's that was featured on Good Day Atlanta and in Deep South Magazine. These showers were installed in places like Buckingham Palace and one can be seen at Biltmore Estate. The Twelve Oaks is one of the very few places you can take a shower in one! Many guests say this is the best shower they've ever experienced! Soak next to the fire just like you would have almost two centuries ago in the in-room double slipper (2 person) claw foot tub. This grand suite features one of the best views of the house overlooking the massive columns on two sides of the house.
Many people don’t realize that Sweet Home Alabama was filmed partly in Covington, which is also known as Hollywood of the South. Stay in this 3rd floor suite to experience southern hospitality at its finest with two beautiful twin beds, original bead board ceilings, and an original fireplace updated with gas coals and a convenient remote. You may want to soak away the day in the gorgeous double slipper claw foot tub with hand shower and a beautiful view out the original French windows!
This charming room on the 2nd floor features beautiful antique French doors leading to your own private enclosed porch perfect for reading a great book! The bathroom has an antique claw foot tub with standing shower, brand new plumbing fixtures and the original tile floor, which we were able to uncover during the renovation. This room has a gorgeous original fireplace that has been converted to gas and comes with a remote for the ultimate in historic beauty with modern convenience. The name of this room pays homage to the role Twelve Oaks played as a set for many episodes of the hit television series, “In the Heat of the Night”.
This guest room conveniently located on the first floor is the study and has gorgeous mahogany woodwork throughout and an original fireplace that has been converted to gas complete with a remote. Step back in time as the bath here has the original tile and original tub and standing shower. Of course, the house was built in 1836, but this is likely one of the first baths added to the house in the late 1800s and is fabulous!
This gorgeous 3rd floor room has an enormous spa bathroom with a jetted pedestal tub. Soak your cares away with chromo-therapy and aromatherapy or take a shower in the large 2-person shower. The architecture in this room is beautiful as well from the barrel ceiling foyer entrance to the original bead board ceiling and gorgeous French windows. This room is perfect for romance with its queen size bed and original fireplace that has been updated to gas and includes the modern convenience of a remote. .
