I stayed here for a night during the Valentine's Day weekend, and we loved it! The grounds were beautiful, and the hospitality was perfect. I definitely recommend a visit because the owners Kim and Susan are extremely nice and welcoming. The jacuzzi was beautiful, the inn was quiet and cozy, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious!

The beauty and charm of this wonderful Inn is only outweighed by the graciousness and hospitality of it's hosts, Susan and Kim. We stayed on the first floor and the tall ceilings, added to the grandness and elegance of our large room. The breakfast was 5 star and fresh, fresh, fresh~! My husband was back again this week and Susan and Kim were super accommodating on a very short notice. (Thank you so much~!) We can't wait for our next visit~!

We came to stay one night and decided to say the second night. Kim and Susan were very helpful with information regarding the area history. The house is a beautiful home and very comfortable. We would highly recommend it to our friends and family. We would definitely stay there again.

Gave a gift to my parents as a winter getaway. They had an excellent time.

My girlfriend and I left our husbands at home and stayed at the Americus Garden Inn in celebration of my friend's 75th birthday. I must say that it was an absolutely delightful experience! The inn was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed to make the stay special was readily available. Susan's cooking was excellent! And the generous hospitality of both Susan and her husband, Kim, made us feel right at home. I have stayed at many B&B's. So trust me when I say that this southern gem will provide you with a 5 star experience. I highly recommend it!

Susan and Kim are two of the sweetest people you are going to meet. They love to meet and talk to new people. They welcome people into their home with open arms. And what a home it is, right on top of the hill at the end of Taylor Street. If you love period homes you will love this one. I think Susan is the brains behind the operation and Kim is using all his powers to become a master restorer. Kim is work on his PhD. in carpentry, joinery and remodeling. He has the 165 year old house in top notch condition. He would get more work done if he didn’t spend all his time waiting on you hand and foot. When Susan says she is going to make you breakfast she means she is going to make everything from scratch. What a cook she is. She made these little egg frittatas that were like biting into whipped cream. My breakfast was coco, egg frittatas, blueberry muffins, pineapple with pomegranate seeds, orange juice and pecan waffles topped with pecan halves and apples. If you have ever dreamed of staying at a B&B this is the one of your dreams. Did I mention the custom bed sheets that are like sleeping in angel wings? Don’t hesitate this is the place for you.

My daughters gave me a two night stay at the Americus Garden Inn for Christmas. It is the best Christmas present I have ever received! It was my first stay at a Bed and Breakfast, so I didn't know what to expect, and to complicate matters, I was recovering from a broken leg. Susan and Kim were very attentive to my situation, and helped in every way possible. The house is spectacular - lots of materials (games, DVDs, books, magazines, a piano and other musical instruments) so one can stay busy, or just sit on one of the beautiful sofas and relax. Words can't describe Susan's delicious breakfasts! I came away from the table each morning stuffed. There were also snacks and coffee, tea and any soft drink you can imagine available on demand. Suggestions on what to do and where to eat were very helpful. I can't wait to go back - to see my friends (Susan and Kim) and to be pampered again!

Susan and Kim are the best Innkeepers my wife and I have experienced in our many adventures into B & B's. Susan prepared a gourmet breakfast for our stay and Kim imparted many helpful ideas for dining and sites to visit. All in all this was one of our most memorable anniversary in some time. I have had the pleasure of staying at the Americus Garden Inn twice. Both times I was traveling with my sister for a funeral and Kim and Susan made our unpleasant time feel like a vacation get-a-way. They took care of everything and made us feel like their family. They welcome you in with open arms and provide every essential of a great stay. On our second visit just 2 weeks ago, we had the home to ourselves. It felt like "our" home. We will always stay with them when our travels take us through Americus. In fact, we are planning a trip to stay with them next year! Thank you again Kim and Susan for making the trip amazing and unforgettable.

My bride and I had a wonderful experience staying at the Americus Garden Inn. The owners were extremely nice and very informative about the local area. The breakfasts were excellent.....I found myself looking to see what we were having in the morning before I went to bed. My parents plan on staying there in the future.

If there is one particular baked item that everyone raves about, it would be Susan's Double Chocolate Almond Scones. Everyone asks for the recipe after just one bite. If you like chocolate and almonds, ask her to make them for you!
