Situated in the heart of the "Vouvray" wine country and the many Castles of the Loire Valley (UNESCO), this charming XVth Century flour mill surrounded by a stream opens its doors to you. While staying at the Moulin des Landes, you will have the opportunity to visit the local Castles, taste some of the finest wines from Vouvray, Montlouis and Chinon, discover local cuisine and the art of living "a la Française" and after a full day of discovery, enjoy a refreshing swim in our private pool. The Mill - History The Moulin des Landes is made up of three buildings. The earliest one was built in 1625 by Louis de Houdan. The second one was constructed in 1726 when the mill was converted into a wheat mill. The chimney in the dining room dates from the 18th century. The third building, the Market, was built in 1851. After its purchase in 2001, the three buildings were renovated over a period of two years leading up to the moment it opened its doors to visitors for the first time in 2003.
This two-bedroom suite with full bath and a view on the river is accessed using the authentic Louis XIII staircase. In the large bedroom there is a queen bed, and two twin beds in the smaller bedroom. (45m2 in total)
This suite has a lovely view over the river "La Brenne", the parc, the clock of the church in the village as well as the "Troglodiques" houses. The suite has 2 rooms, one with a queen bed and another with 2 twin beds. There is an independante bathroom (50m2in total) with a marvellous bath.
A Very romantic room, with 2 single size beds and one separated bathroom with shower and toilette ( 25m2 in total)
On the 1st floor accessible via a private staircase, has one separated toilette, a large room with one kingsize bed and a separated high-class bathroom (35sq.m in total).
With an indepedent access on the ground floor, has one room fitted with a large king bed , and another room with a single bed, an independante bathroom with shower and a separated toilette.(30sq.m in total)

Just loved our stay. The place is quiet, room was just beautiful, neat, in a lovely environment. Florence (the hostess) was charming, gentle and open to inform, recomend and just talk. Breakfast was outstanding. We had a very good time and will like to go back.

It was a short, but perfect stay. We were welcomed very well by Florence and she provided us with many interesting sight seeing tips for the region. Very nice property and service, exceeded all our expectations. We highly recommend this B&B! Marjolein & Philippe
