    Situated in the heart of the "Vouvray" wine country and the many Castles of the Loire Valley (UNESCO), this charming XVth Century flour mill surrounded by a stream opens its doors to you. While staying at the Moulin des Landes, you will have the opportunity to visit the local Castles, taste some of the finest wines from Vouvray, Montlouis and Chinon, discover local cuisine and the art of living "a la Française" and after a full day of discovery, enjoy a refreshing swim in our private pool. The Mill - History The Moulin des Landes is made up of three buildings. The earliest one was built in 1625 by Louis de Houdan. The second one was constructed in 1726 when the mill was converted into a wheat mill. The chimney in the dining room dates from the 18th century. The third building, the Market, was built in 1851. After its purchase in 2001, the three buildings were renovated over a period of two years leading up to the moment it opened its doors to visitors for the first time in 2003.

From Orly airport From Orly airport you can either take a taxi to Massy T.G.V. station, a bus to Paris - Montparnasse station where you catch the T.G.V. train to St Pierre-des-corps or Tours stations (about 1h); then you can rent a car or take a taxi to come in Le Moulin de Landes (15 min from the station). By Car From Paris or Bordeaux take the A10 highway and take exit 20 "Tours/St Radegonde" (15 min from Le Moulin des Landes), then direction "Vouvray/Amboise" on the N152. After Vouvray at roundabout take RD46, after "Vernou" sign drive 1500 meters, Le Moulin des Landes is at your left. From Amboise, take Vernou direction and take D46 road.
