    Situated in the heart of the Oze valley in the Auxois region of Burgundy, La Belle Epoque guest house is located in the former "Café de la Gare" in Thenissey. Our en-suite bedroom and bathroom has all the comforts of home in a peaceful country setting. Visit the medieval towns of Semur-en- Auxois, and Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, the Château of Bussy Rabutin, the Abbey of Fontenay and the site of the famous battle of Alesia.You can even take the train into Dijon for a day of sight-seeing and shopping in the old capital of the Dukes of Burgundy. Karin offers a contemporary version of traditional Burgundy cooking for the evening meal with a supplement, and a hearty full breakfast is included in the price.

    Frederic and I are both teachers in Dijon. We enjoy meeting new people and travelling, taking walks in nature, riding bikes and sight-seeing. We are also enthusiastic about all kinds of cultural events and love history.
