    Welcome to our home! Manoir La Betoulle is a comfortable 4 room Bed & Breakfast situated in 90 acres of parkland offering a private, cozy and relaxing environment. Our 4 en suite rooms offer a choice of king, double or single beds. The elegantly decorated guest rooms are all furnished in antique French styles, and each is different from any other. Hortensia, Tournesol, Magnolia & Lotus Rooms are all individual rooms with private bathrooms, separate WCs, entries with fitted wardrobes, access to a vast covered terrace with outdoor seating, and all have luxurious linens. Rooms are equipped with hairdryers, alarm clocks, bathroom toiletries, cooling fans for the long,hot summer days & a geothermal underfloor heating system for the cooler months.     The English owners Penny & John have owned property in France for over 20years. They have a love of antiques, fine food, wine & have travelled the world in their careers as an engineer/businessman & radiographer. They bought La Betoulle to provide a peaceful and relaxing getaway, so that you can return to your daily life rejuvenated and refreshed.

      Keep on N10 until you see signs for Mansle D739 (this should have taken you about an hour). Take this turn off and go into Mansle – you will go over the river and come to a crossroads with traffic lights. You need to turn left to Cellefrouin and St Claud on D739. This is now a straight drive through Valence and Cellefrouin into the back of St Claud village. You will come to a T-junction turning – the pharmacy will be on corner on your left – a signpost for La Betoulle is outside. Turn sharp left – this is a nasty corner so be careful. Go slowly up between houses on either side until you come to a hidden crossroads – you need to turn left on the D28 to Champagne Mouton. (If you miss this left turning you will leave the village) Follow the D28 for about 1km – look out for the fire station on your right. You will then see a sign for La Betoulle on your right and then very quickly on your left you will see black wrought-iron gates set into a wall - this is the entrance to the driveway. The gates are electric, so ideally call us when you are nearby/ sound horn on arrival.
