Small French Tuscany, the green valleys of the Lauragais, are located in the southwest of the Languedoc-Roussillon area, 731 kms from Paris Notre Dame. Here is our bed and breakfast and holiday lodge "Domaine of the Moment" in the quiet village centre of tiny Soupex halfway between Carcasonne and Toulouse. The old doctorshouse is 200 years old now and still full of charm, surrounded by mystery and light. We preferred to keep the charm of the old by adding subtle touches of modern design to the existing structure. Here, you sleep without end on the comfortable Belgian beds. Each of our 4 rooms is equipped with it's own bathroom and has its particular character and different view according to exposure. Room A l' Est - East views the beautiful Parc and sees the sun come up. Room Grand Nord (North) situated on the village square has it's own little terrace in the morning sun. Room Plein Sud - South overlooks the Lauragais hills. Room Sud Ouest - South West has a 'shower with a view' and could host 3 people. Our holiday lodge 'Gîte du Moment' can host up to 5 people and is completely self contained. When the weather changes, sometimes...you might see the majestuous Pyrenees mountains. The Park of time with its beautiful 15x8m swimming pool offers a privileged area with many seating and even bbq possibilites for lounging. Around Soupex are lots of hiking possibilities such as the path of Saint Jacques de Compostella. At 12 Kilometres distance, lies the beautiful Lake of St Ferréol, offering sandy beaches overlooking the green hills of the Montagne Noire. The nearness of many cute historic villages and larger sites like the Canal du Midi or the cities of Carcassonne, Albi and Toulouse complete the setting for your perfect holidays.

A lovely place to stay. If you like a personal touch and vintage french brocante style furniture choose Domaine du Moment. The pool is nice and big, the mediterranean styled garden pleasant to pick nick. The charming owners borrowed us all we needed such as plates and the barbecue. The Domaine is in the middle of a very little village, halfway Toulouse and Carcassonne. A perfect hide away!

In the quiet village Soupex is a beautiful mansion in which Domaine de Moment is located. The rooms all have a very different atmosphere, but they are all super tasteful, clean and the shower and the bed are perfect. Not even to mention the lovely garden with large pool. Also they have proper good Wifi. Nearby are plenty of things to do, the French countryside at its best, you do need a car. Owners Nathalie and PP do everything to make sure you have a wonderful time. They know the best places around to eat and to visit. Super spot for a night in transit or for a whole week to relax and celebrate your holidays.

Wow this is a nice place to stay! The house has preserved many original features but the owners added modern comfort. Off the beaten track. Nice region as well, many things to do but not touristic at all. Nice hikes. Nice views. And nice breakfast and lovely owners.

A perfect place to spend your holiday en explore the Lauragais en the Aude. Close to Carcassonne (airport), Canal du Midi and some beautiful villages! The owners are very friendly and hospitable. You can ask for breakfast every morning. We only did this the last day, it was delicious. In the kitchen you can cook your own meal or visit a restaurant nearby.

This room is located at the end of a small corridor facing room South West and in addition to it can easily be transformed in a family room.

This room also offers the possibility to add 1 extra bed and can easily be turned in a family room by joining it to room PLEIN SUD.
