    Surrounded by vineyards and forests, the 13th century manor sits on three hectares of meadows. Built entirely of wood and stone, the home has two towers and a moat. It is very quiet with great amenities and outdoor facilities, including a BBQ. Rooms are spacious with brand new large comfortable beds. All rooms have a private bathroom, new flat screen TV and cable. It is definitely the best place for wine tasting and relaxing. Also open in winter with excellent heating and a big fireplace!

    Signature Dish

    Croustillant de Chavignol
    Chavignol is the next village to Sancerre, and famous for its goat cheese. Croustillant means rolled in "bricks" (wheat slices) and warmed in a pan. This is our first dish and after we serve a french "omelette" (with ham, or cheese or mushroom or all three) with a glass of wine or mineral water. Bottle of Sancerre wine is 15€. Then yogurt or ice cream and coffee. Lunch and dinner can be served inside the house or outside, depending on weather.
