Le Moulin Neuf, the home of your hosts, Robert & Stuart and the original millhouse. There has been a mill on this site since the 16th century.

The guests' sitting-room, with a TV (English and French + satellite) and a corner with a refrigerator and counter with cups, saucers and glasses, perfect for making a tea or coffee whenever you want. Breakfast is served in this room when it is not served outside.
The ideal spot for a picnic, under the catalpa trees with their enormous bright green leaves. (The french call them 'the civil service tree', a tree which is the last to produce its leaves each year and the first to start dropping in the autumn!)

A beautiful honey-coloured stone mill dating back centuries sits romantically in a lush sunny valley surrounded by century old tall trees. This is the home of your hosts, Robert and Stuart. Next door is the creeper-clad guesthouse, which years ago was the barn, all now skilfully converted to provide the most comfortable and cosy guests' accommodation. Everything is perfect from the lovingly tended flower-filled borders to the crystal clear trout streams and lake. La France Profonde! Totally quiet and peaceful but not at all remote. Situated in the golden triangle of Sarlat, Perigueux and Bergerac, the Moulin Neuf is ideally placed for visiting the various sites of the area, be it the pre-historic caves around Les Eyzies, 20 minutes drive away, the chateaux of the Dordogne river or the numerous ancient villages and bastide towns scattered throughout the Périgord.

Pass the viewpoint on the left and the Hotel Les Terrasses de Beauregard on the right. Drive down the hill and at the crossroads go straight across following the signs to Sainte-Alvère on the D2. Fork left after 100m. Then continue on the D2 for 2 kms until you come to a tiny crossroads. Our drive leads down from this crossroads.
