    Welcome to the Salamander, located at our renovated farm, Le Vermont, 800 meters from the English Channel. We offer modern comfort in a traditional setting, as well as easy access to La Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery, Sainte Mère Eglise and Bayeux (all within 30 mn), Arromanches and Caen (40-45 mn), and the Mont Saint Michel (1:45). Sandy beaches at Vierville or Grandcamp-Maisy. Cider tasting nearby. You can play badminton on our lawn, taste our homemade jams at breakfast, and relax and enjoy the quiet. Commerce and good selection of restaurants at 7 km. Le Vermont is located in the Norman countryside between sea and farms, with excellent possibilities for beaching, bicycling, and walking: a great way to see the old farms and manor houses, and enjoy the calm. The Salamander has a family suite with main bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette, all wheelchair accessible on the ground floor. It also has a mezzanine bedroom with half-bath. Child cot, high chair, and bath available.
