    Friendly high class accommodation offering 4 en-suite bedrooms, 2 doubles, 1 twin-bedded and 1 family. All rooms have doors opening directly onto the garden with access to the swimming pool and large terrace with panoramic views of the foothills of the Pyrenees. All rooms have French/English TV and tea and coffee facilities, also a private sitting area with tables and chairs outside each room. We are situated only 5 minutes walk from the town centre of Quillan with all the necessary commerces, banks, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries etc. A market is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the year with a Thursday, evening market until midnight in July and August with entertainment. Other festivals are held throughout the summer, international folk festival, jazz festival, guitar festival, annual cycle race round town centre with top riders from the Tour de France during the town festival when a beef roast takes place in the centre of town. Ideal area for walking, cycling and all water sports, rafting,kayaking. Quillan is situated on the river Aude.

      We are situated just off the D117 which is the main road which follows the Pyrenees from Perpignan (40 miles), almost to the Atlantic coast of France. If arriving from the direction of Carcassone (D118), as you enter Quillan, the road crosses the river Aude, to traffic lights. At the lights turn right onto the Foix road D117. Stay on this road, which swings round to the left and after about 200 metres you will see l'Olivette yellow arrow off to the right. Take this little road and after just 50 yards you will arrive at l'Olivette - welcome!!! If coming from the Perpignan direction you are already on the D117, so on arriving at Quillan go straight through the first set of traffic lights and at the second set, direction Foix D117, turn left and follow directions as above. We are just 5 minutes walk from the town centre of Quillan.

      Carcassonbe is our nearest airport just 45 minutes drive as described above. Perpignan is one hour away by car. Directions as above. Flights also to Girona, Barcelona (about 2 hours drive away). Just head for France, Perpignan and take the direction for Foix D117 to arrive at Quillan. Toulouse is another option also 2 hours drive away. Can drive to Carcassone and then direction as above on D118, or take the Foix road D117 which is a prettier route and comes straight to within 50 metres of l'Olivette.
