Nestled in the heart of the village Maison Delmas is a charming, tranquil retreat. The house built in 1769 is Maison de Maitre sympathetically restored in the traditional french style, with period furniture and muted colours. We have two four poster bedrooms with en suite, a twin bedroom, a family room and a double room with an en suite overlooking the garden. The enclosed garden is where you can relax and enjoy the views over the historic Village. From Maison Delmas you can walk to any of the restaurants in the Village. We have off road parking and safe storage for bicycles if required. In the village there is a selection of restaurants offering local delicacies. The Lot valley is renowned for the black Cahors wine and there are numerous vineyards offering wine tasting and some have tours available giving an insight into the complexities to make the highly rated wines that are grown in this region. You can explore the hiking trails with several interesting walks in the area and there is canoeing and a sight seeing boat which does trips along the river Lot. Within 5 minutes walking distance we have an indoor village pool and tennis courts. A short drive away there are castles and chateaux to visit and lots of pretty Bastide towns to wander round with open air cafes to relax and enjoy a leisurely coffee or glass of the local wine.

Directions to property:
Presuming you are coming from Cahors you reach a small town called Prayssac, follow the road through the town and stay on that road until you reach Puy L’Eveque. When you see a large town sign on the right you take a ghosting lane to the left and turn down the road. Within 100 m you will see an Inter Marche supermarket. Carry on to the mini roundabout with Henri’s hotel on you left and take the road to the left, 3rd exit. 100m down that road you will see a Boulangerie on your right we are the immediately after that with a large set of grey gates. If you reach the bridge you have gone too far. Drive in to the courtyard.

Other Airports - Bordeaux, Toulouse, Rodez, Brive, and Limouges Bergerac is an hour and quarter drive - there is car hire at the airport. Turn left from the airport after 3km look out for sign on left for Issigeac foolw the road to Villereal and take the road to Monflaquin at the town turn left to Fumel and continue on to Puy l'Eveque
