    In the Loire Valley, surrounded by all the famous castles and vineyards,55 min from Paris by TGV and 10 miles from Tours, Claudine Detilleux welcomes you to the “Hérissaudière” castle. Built in 1642 in “Tuffeau”,the regional white stone, as the hunting cottage of “Diane de Poitiers”-the king's lover- the castle opens on a huge park with old sequoias. The castle is decorated in the utmost classical French style,with old and Art Deco furniture,each suite being unique,double opening on the park and including the most comfortable facilities. Apart from the 5 suites each named by a famous vineyard, large and numerous facilities are available: - a warm and comfortable living room where one can easily socialize - a wide library with a nice fire place and leather sofas - a wonderful large terrace flooded with roses where breakfast may be served. Activities are numerous : heated swimming pool, tennis, ping-pong,and a play house. Nearby, golf (18 & 9 holes), horse riding,bicycles,hot air balloon, helicopter viewing can be practiced.Possibilities of pic-nics You may enjoy wine tasting (white and red famous wines all around),visit the most famous royal French Chateaux or gardens « à la française » (Amboise,Chenonceau,Villandry,Azay ,etc...), or even visit caves, troglodyte houses, or art and craft museums.

      Take Autorout A10-E5 to Tours: - from Paris, exit n°19 - from the south, exit n°20 (Sainte Radegonde) Go in the direction of ANGERS/LAVAL until you get to La Membrolle sur Choisille where you turn off on D 959 toward Chateau la Valliere/Angers. After 7 km, turn left on D48 in the direction of PERNAY, Cinq-Mars, Langeais. 2 km ahead on the left is the private drive marked l'Hérissaudière. Or, Coming from the northwest (Le Mans), on Autoroute A28 take the exit for Neuillé-Pont-Pierre. Follow N138-E502 toward Tours; at Semblançay take a right onto D48. The private drive for l'Hérissaudière is 2 km ahead on the left, after crossing D959.
