Ideally located 10-20 minutes by underground from the main monuments of Paris (Opera, Galeries Lafayette stores, Arc de Triomphe, Montmartre, Marais, Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, cemetery of the Lachaise father) near all means of transport, bus, taxi, véloset of all the necessary shops, our haven of peace will be enjoyed to rest "as the campaign" after your visits to Paris. We prepare and serve delicious breakfasts, to the corner of the winter fire or on one of our three terraces the summer. Our only neighbors are birds, ducks, herons, the boat is very quiet and you there sleep deeply. On request, we can prepare you with excellent diners, simple or gourmet and Christian, Chief star, and also passionate historian will make you dream in the story of France. We receive you with the same respect as those reserved for friends.

My husband and I recently visited Paris, where he had to attend a conference in the La Defense area. But since I was coming too, I asked if we could find something more in the city instead of the conference hotel (where I knew all social conversations would still revolve around business! :-) I found this delightful gem and it exceeded every one of my expectations. (Plus we spent about the same for 5 nights, as we would have for 3 nights at the conference hotel.) We also took advantage of the offer to have the host couple make us dinner our first evening - it turned out to be the best meal we had all week despite fine-dining within the city. It is just a tad bit away from the city centre, but an easy and quick commute by metro, and a reasonable $10-$15 taxi fare when we stayed out late. I would recommend this beautiful and tranquil houseboat B&B on the Seine to anyone! It is first-rate!!!

Our stay with Christian and Marie was more than we could hope for. We spent 5 wonderful and relaxing days and felt so sorry to leave to continue our journey, we were made so very welcome and were provided with invaluable advice on transport and venues. Our Jazz club outing with them was so enjoyable, we feel we have made friends for live. We could not recommend this more highly...a fantastic experience. Thank you Marie and Christian!
