* Mas du Petit Grava is located in the heart of Provence near the Roman cities of Arles and Saint Remy where Van Gogh created many of his most famous paintings. This 18th Century country home is surrounded by the gardens and orchard that provide most of the fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers used within it. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and furnished with antiques from the area. There is a swimming pool and gym along with bikes and walking trails for exercise. For quiet times, the Mas has an extensive music and reading library. Breakfast is complementary. Mas du Petit Grava is an ideal place to spend a few restful days or to use as a base from which to visit Southern France's quiet villages, busy cities and incomparable beaches.

Fly to Paris; take a few days to visit or re-visit one of the world's most beautiful cities, and then enjoy a two and half hour train ride through spectacular countryside to Avignon. At Avignon, rent a car to make the forty-five minute drive to the mas or telephone ahead to us to meet you. Fly to Marseille, rent a car and make a forty-five minute drive to the mas or call ahead for us to meet you. Since what you will want to see is spread over a large area, a car is necessary unless you want to spend your time quietly at the mas.

I don't have enough room to go on and on about what a great experience we had at the Mas. The property is so beautiful and relaxing out in the country, but in a great central location for touring the Provencial villages. Ike is one of the sweetest people you'll ever want to meet! (Jim was away, so we didn't get to meet him). The quality of the breakfast was the best I've had. All I can say is I want to come back and I only just got home. Thanks Ike! Nina from New Orleans
