    This part of the monastery was used by the Sisters of Merle as a space of common life with the lounge and the library on the second floor. We have preserved the authenticity of this place with the woodwork and the stone slabs of origin of the construction and the mullioned window dating from the construction of the building (1635). 105 m2, 5 rooms with lounge, kitchen, Wc, bathroom/wc room and 3 bedrooms. 1 bedroom with a double bed of 2 personnes.2 rooms with twin beds Equipment: Washing machine, microwave, linens for rent, TV, dishwashers, Garden Salon, Barbecue, equipment baby, hair dryer, stove wood. This deposit has also its space closed without screws a screw of 200 m2 with barbecue and garden. Merle is located in upper Forez in Rhone Alps, at the gates of the Park Livradois Forez, at the border of the departments of Loire, Haute Loire, and the Puy de Dôme in the Auvergne. It is an area very hilly mountain, whose forests are composed in majority of Scots pine trees and majestic beech. These woodlands are home to many species of fungi and the fall colors are extraordinary. Very well marked hikes are multiple from 700 m to 1635m of altitude. You will cross a campaign on roads between wood and remained still wild Prairie, where the flora and fauna represent a rich biodiversity. What treat for walkers, mountain bikers... Many streams out for most of the bogs of altitude rich in trout, Arctic char and other will bring to the fishermen of the unforgettable moments. Thrush is close to Saint Bonnet the Castle including the collegiate church dominates the village, and houses and Mummies to the rich past of history. A recently discovered chapel contains very old and very well-preserved frescoes. Nearby villages are classified nature (Montarcher remarkable view Marols).
