We are english owners, and have renovated the property to a high standard. We offer 5 guest bedrooms (sleeps 15) with private ensuite facilities. Enjoy our large swimming pool, 3 acres of gardens, petanque, childrens swings, and goat pen. We provide bed & breakfast; evening meals; wine courses and tours; chateaux tours; gastronomic weekends; self-improvement workshops; retreat space and Christmas and New Year getaways. Open all year. BY CAR: Approximately 3 hours drive.
Take the A6 then A77/N7 to St Pierre le Moutier. Then D978 to Lurcy-Levis. At Lurcy-Levis take the D64 for 4 kms to La Platriere.
BY TRAIN: Take the metro to Gare de Lyon. Then SCNF train to Moulins-Sur-Allier (2 1/2 hours. We are 39 Kms from Moulins. We can arrange pick up from station for a supplement of 40 euros or there are plenty of car hire places at station. If you choose to hire a car we can send you directions from Moulins.
