Manoir de la Foulquetière is a 15th century manoir surrounded by stunning parkland and countryside close to Valencay in the southern Loire Valley. Owned by Rosemary Conquest, an antique dealer and interior designer, and her husband Richard, the Manoir has four stunning rooms with ensuite bathrooms and a suite in the Pigeonnier Tower for bed and breakfast . All of the rooms are decorated with French antiques and provide luxurious accommodation. Guests can enjoy the Manoir’s gardens, swimming pool, woodland and lake while the local area offers vineyards, fishing lakes and some of the most beautiful chateaux in France.
The Pigeonnier Tower is the perfect romantic hideaway.Located in the courtyard, it is decorated with antique furniture and chandeliers. There is a kitchenette, satellite TV, antique double bed and ensuite shower room. There is a very steep staircase to the first floor so you need a head for heights!
