Perfect French B & B

5 on October 21, 2013

We stayed two nights with another couple and fell in love the minute we drove up. It is a charming old farm house they have modernized with a lovely garden in the back. Both Janine and Daniel were gracious hosts and paid great attention to detail - from how he restored the stone to Janine's embroidery and her delicious breakfasts. The jams were homemade with fruit from the garden. The table was beautifully set and made you feel special, yet at the same time like part of the family. Can't wait for a return trip! Wonderful B and B

5 on September 24, 2013

My husband and I stumbled into this B and B in a very small village without a reservation, and were so lucky to meet Janine and Daniel. They were very kind and generous to us, and their home was just lovely. It was very clean and nicely decorated with a very delightful garden as well. Janine makes great coffee, as well as jams! I would recommend this home to anyone!

A lovely jewel in the French countryside

5 on September 03, 2013

We stayed at Le Roulage with another couple during our 3 day stay to visit the D-Day beaches. Janine and Daniel were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. This B&B is a farmhouse built in the early 1700s with a large magnificent garden lovingly maintained by Daniel. And Janine's homemade jams at breakfast were a delicious treat every morning. Each of our rooms was very charming and beautifully decorated by Janine. Le Roulage is 20 minutes from Bayeux but well-worth the drive to be in the peaceful countryside.

Beautiful Host and Home

5 on July 31, 2013

Le Roulage is beautiful home operated by two fantastic people. Janine and Daniel treated us as family. The airline lost our luggage and when we arrived at Le Roulage all we had was the clothes we were wearing. Janine and Daniel provided toiletries and gave us clothes to wear! They are great people! The garden is beautiful Daniel is a serious gardner. Janine's home made jams are a perfect way to start the day. We will always remember and appreciate the hospitality we received at Le Roulage.

Un séjour de rêve

5 on July 26, 2013

Charming B & B in Normandy

We stayed for two nights in this lovely B & B enjoying a warm welcome, a beautiful setting, a gorgeous garden and a delicious breakfast! Le Roulage is located in a quiet village with easy access to important sites in Normandy. We give this B & B our highest recommendation!

Charming property

4.8 on October 18, 2012

The bed and breakfast was located in a small village within easy driving distance of the WW 11 sites. Madame was charming and made us feel completely at home. Her breakfasts were ample and especially delicious due to her variety of homemade jams. The property is immaculately maintained and especially restful after a long day of sightseeing. Would highly recommend.

What a perfect, hidden gem

5 on September 13, 2012

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and wished that we would have had more time to enjoy the beautiful garden, as well as all the surrounding things. This place is perfect for exploring the Normandie WW2 history, enjoy great food in local towns or simply relax in the garden. The owners are very friendly and even mailed me two shirts that I left behind. Of course I reimbursed them for postage, etc. but the fact that they don't stop caring once you leave simply confirms how genuinly nice and friendly they are. Thank you very much, we loved every minute at your location. Kim & Stefan

Delightful Bed and Breakfast

5 on August 25, 2012

My husband and I stayed three nights and it was absolutely fabulous. Janine speaks excellent English and we loved her French - "Voila" to everything. She welcomed us like we were family. We enjoyed the delicious fresh bread and her homemade jams - yummy, with very good coffee and juice. We were blessed with beautiful weather so we got to enjoy wine and snacks in the front garden. Our room and bathroom - perfect and so very clean. Janine and Daniel are a lovely couple and we thank them for sharing their beautiful home and gardens with us. Dawn and Tom Dean

Charming and outstanding, unforgettable place and people

5 on August 21, 2012

The perfect place to relax and enjoy the pleasures of nature in a charming, eye-catching, captivating atmosphere where the owners do anything to make your stay unforgettable (Daniel taking care of their beautiful garden and Janine preparing her beautiful breakfasts....). And this is all at just a few minutes drive from the most interesting places in Normandy. There is no other place we would reccomend to go and we will surely come back as soon as we have the chance!!! Thanks again for the beautiful moments!!!
