    Charming property

    October 18, 2012

The bed and breakfast was located in a small village within easy driving distance of the WW 11 sites. Madame was charming and made us feel completely at home. Her breakfasts were ample and especially delicious due to her variety of homemade jams. The property is immaculately maintained and especially restful after a long day of sightseeing. Would highly recommend.

    What a perfect, hidden gem

    September 13, 2012

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and wished that we would have had more time to enjoy the beautiful garden, as well as all the surrounding things. This place is perfect for exploring the Normandie WW2 history, enjoy great food in local towns or simply relax in the garden. The owners are very friendly and even mailed me two shirts that I left behind. Of course I reimbursed them for postage, etc. but the fact that they don't stop caring once you leave simply confirms how genuinly nice and friendly they are. Thank you very much, we loved every minute at your location. Kim & Stefan

    Delightful Bed and Breakfast

    August 25, 2012

My husband and I stayed three nights and it was absolutely fabulous. Janine speaks excellent English and we loved her French - "Voila" to everything. She welcomed us like we were family. We enjoyed the delicious fresh bread and her homemade jams - yummy, with very good coffee and juice. We were blessed with beautiful weather so we got to enjoy wine and snacks in the front garden. Our room and bathroom - perfect and so very clean. Janine and Daniel are a lovely couple and we thank them for sharing their beautiful home and gardens with us. Dawn and Tom Dean

    August 21, 2012

The perfect place to relax and enjoy the pleasures of nature in a charming, eye-catching, captivating atmosphere where the owners do anything to make your stay unforgettable (Daniel taking care of their beautiful garden and Janine preparing her beautiful breakfasts....). And this is all at just a few minutes drive from the most interesting places in Normandy. There is no other place we would reccomend to go and we will surely come back as soon as we have the chance!!! Thanks again for the beautiful moments!!!

    Amazing stay in Normandy

    August 19, 2012

Our weekly stay in this beautiful, quiet b&b (just a few minutes away from the D-Day landing beaches) was outstandingly enriched by Ms. Leroyer's presence. She impeccably takes care of the guests, gently responding to any request (we were travelling with a 14-month old baby), while her husband shapes the beautiful garden that surrounds the house. Everything is accurately managed. Strongly reccommended.

    Absolutely Beautiful!!!

    August 06, 2012

My eight year old daughter and I were extremely impressed both with this beautiful home and with it's owners, our hosts, Janine and Daniel LeRoyer. The grounds are gorgeous and the home is lovely. The owners are very passionate about the gardens and Janine is a master at embroidery and at making you feel at home here. The breakfast was amazing, with fresh bread and croissant, homemade jams and jellies using the fruits from their own gardens. The butter is from the local cows, and everything is served on the best china in the dining room. We felt like queen and princess there. And when leaving, Janine was very nice to serve us our breakfast early, as we had an early train to catch. Janine speaks good English, and we don't speak French, so communication was easy. I would love to visit here again when I have more time. If you love gardens, you should not miss out on staying here. It is very close to Omaha Beach and the other D-Day beaches. I will visit this property again if I can. I highly recommend it to everyone. Thank you Daniel and Janine!

Ideal bed & breakfast located close to the D-Day beaches.

    August 04, 2012

We stayed at Janine and Daniel's inn in June 2012 during the time of the We stayed at the inn for several days, and the location was perfect for visiting all the D-Day sites. The rooms, each with its own bath, are simply decorated, yet comfortable, and Janine's breakfast table is generous, and includes jams that Janine has prepared herself. The rolls and croissants are provided fresh every day, and are bountiful. The coffee, tea and hot chocolate were delicious. Daniel tends the gardens which are spectacular! The varities of roses and other flowering shrubs and blooms are a sight to behold. Gorgeous! The German cemetery at La Cambe is close by, and you can begin your tour of the coast from here, starting at Utah Beach. This area is also close to branching off toward Mont St. Michel, as well as Honfleur and Deauville. St. Mere Eglise is also nearby. We would easilly stay at this bed & breakfast again if we return to the area in the future.

Wonderful Stay, hope to stay again in the future!

    July 19, 2012

A warm, quiet, french style, passionate place to stay at a very affordable price. The things we enjoy here is far more than we pay. A wonderful nice garden is taken care by the passionated house owners. They generously and hospitality share their house and garden. The house owner Janine loves embroidery very much, we can enjoy her wonderful art works. Janine makes every effort to let us explore the place around Normandy.
