    Burlande, a verdant oasis sheltered in the shadow of Les Baux, amidst Mediterranean countryside and olive trees, at a bend along a serendipitous gravel road. The house is wonderfully designed with quiet rooms looking out across private terraces with views onto the flower-filled gardens and lavish swimming pool. The décor and hospitality is most agreeable and relaxing. Mme Fajardo offers her guests a splendid breakfast, and, with a reservation, she may also offer evening meals of exceptional settings and delicious, home-cooked, Provencal recipes. La Burlande is perfectly located for day excursions into the Alpilles or Luberon, the Mediterranean coast or the Camargue, or sightseeing Provence spots like Aix, Avignon, Les Baux, the Pont du Gard, Nîmes, Marseille, Arles, St. Rémy, etc… English is spoken.

      From Orange by highway A7, exit Avignon South. Cross the village of Noves, take the direction of Saint-Rémy, and finally the direction of Les Baux. From Les Baux take D78f 3 km approximately. Left (300 m after the left intersection to the village of Paradou) onto Chemin du Pastresson, at the foot of the sign for La Burlande B&B. From Montpellier and Arles, exit #7 on the Arles bypasse. Then, at the 4th roundabout, take the right to "Fontvieille, Les Baux" (D17). The road forks on the left (D78F) towards Les Baux, then 1.5 km.
