Great hosts and a fun place to stay! It's clean, lovely room, great old house and they treat their guests very well. It's near many great places and Castles in the area. Super stay, highly recommended!!

When we arrived we were greeted like old friends, a brief chat, a glass of wine and a sense of comfort that gives you your own home. The rooms, with the only handicap of bringing the suitcases up the steep ladder, are wonderful and have surprising details that add value to the experience. The treatment was great and makes the stay seem short. Also, Langeais is a lovely village and has plenty of photogenic places.

    Wonderful stay...too short!

We were welcomed with a glass of wine to relax on the patio byShaun, the quintessential British host in the French Chateau city of Langeais! The climb to our suite was challenging, but the reward once we arrived was worth the trip, complete with water chiling in the fridge and Chocotate too! We dined with another couple also staying at Le Clos and found much in common to share, making a delightful stay even moreso with good conversation, delicious food and a convivial host/chef. This is a find and the Chateau Langeais is incredible.

Don't stay here if you are shy :)

Shaun is fun and easy to be around, but has a wry sense of humor that may not be for everyone. He is well informed about the area and has been to all the places he recommended to us. The dogs are great and added a warm feeling to an already welcoming household. We had a fabulous time in the area, despite some inclement weather; and found the B&B well situated for all of our adventures. We would stay again. Thanks for making us feel welcome and accommodating our daughter so easily.
