  • Inn Details

    18th century farmhouse in Lower Normandy, centrally located for D-Day beaches, Bayeux, Mont St Michel, Atlantic coast etc has 3 guest rooms, all with en suite facilities. A home rather than a business, the atmosphere is relaxed & welcoming. The bed linen is cotton, there are flowers by your bed, and magazines and books, and drink-making facilities for those early morning times before we are up. There are no televisions in the rooms (it is not a motel!) but there is wi-fi internet access. There is a network of footpaths on our 14 acres which connect the valley, 2 ponds, the beech wood, the stream and meadows - the perfect length for a pre-breakfast stroll in the morning sun.

    Craftwork, making people happy, enjoying the peace and calm of the countryside, music, and - should I admit it? - occasional shopping. Husband is a bit of a bore (likes chess, politics, economics, cricket, etc) but I keep him busy outside most of the time. He speaks some French.
