    In Issigeac countryside, a pretty medieval and lively village renowned for its buoyant Sunday market, Château Gauthié is a renovated manor of typical Perigord architecture. Embedded in 20 acres of garden, meadow and woodland, it looks grand yet feels easy going. If vacation means to you just relaxing in a comfortable bed, lounging by the pool, in the hot tub or lolling by a lake watching the dragonflies’ ballet or in a shaded hammock listening to the birds’ songs, this is for you. Of course we, Florence and Stéphan, can also warmly recommend a lot of the many attractions of this vineyards and picturesque villages Bergerac area.

Coming from the South, exiting CASTILLONNES, leave N21 on the right for ISSIGEAC. After 4.5mi, Château Gauthie woody driveway is indicated on the right.
