Le Marronnier is a beautifully restored longere in the heart of the Breton countryside, offering delightful bed and breakfast accommodation. We have 2 charming en-suite bedrooms, offering either Superking or Twin beds. Breakfast is served in the Garden Room, where guests are also welcome to spend the evening, where there is a fridge and microwave, and we can provide cutlery, plates, glasses etc., for those who prefer to 'eat-in' with their purchases from the local market. We also have a self-catering Gite available for weekly lets - please see website for details.

My wife and I visited Le Marronnier for 3 nights in the beginning of June 2011. We had several wonderfull homecooked meals, a nice room and a spotless bathroom. Everything arround Le Marronnier showed the love and care for details the owners had put in the place. We will certanly come back and enjoy Jo and Bernies beautiful B&B. It is highly recomended by us.

We've recently stayed at this fantastic B&B, I cannot recommend it enough. The rooms are clean, spacy with excellent ensuite facilities. As a Brit I appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was of the highest quality and we had the option of taking it on the terrace of our room enjoying the early morning sunshine or in the tastefully decorated breakfast room. Jo and Bernie also kindly provided us with a picnic for our day trips and an excellent evening meal. If you are in the area please take advantage of this wonderful B&B.

From the RN24 heading from Rennes in the direction of Vannes ..Do not take the Guegon exit but continue past this and take the exit for St Jean Brevelay and Guehenno. At the bottom of the slip road turn right, then turn immediately right again (signposted Poulbout). Continue for approximately 500 metres, passing the farm buildings on your left and bear to the left. You will pass some bins on your right; bear right here and then turn right again at the bottom of this lane. Drive for 100 metres and then turn right into the graveled car park beneath the Chestnut Tree, where you will see the Le Marronnier B&B sign.
