19th century fully restored millhouse with wooden beams just 10 kms south of Fontenay le Comte. We have 4 bedrooms each with shower and toilet. We also have a family suite which is 2 bedrooms which communicate via the bathroom. This is very popular and needs to be reserved in advance. All rooms are equiped with a hairdryer, alarm clock and tea and coffee facilities. Evening meals available on request. Animals accepted. Bike hire available on site at reasonable rates. We are just 3 kms from Nieul sur L'Autize, 8kms from Marais Poitevin (Venise Vert) A10kms from mervent 50kms from la rochelle, 60kms from les Sables d'Olonne 70 jms from the infamous Puy du Fou (not to be missed) and 1 hour by car from Futuroscope. We have a 3 key rating with Clévacance ALTHOUGH WE HAVE RESIDENT ANIMALS PLEASE NOTE THAT GUESTS HAVE NO CONTACT WITH THEM;

Having just stayed at La Vallee I can truly recommend it. Peter and val could not have been more helpful. The bedrooms are much larger than one would have expected and with good sized en suite bathrooms. The breakfast is a feast with home baked bread and croissants. The smell of fresh bread fills the air in the mornings and with the sun shining, one could not have been happier! Dinner was a treat also. Val also had a number of french guests who seemed just as happy as us and val was able to talk with them no problem! Go on - give La vallee a try - I don't think you will be disappointed
