Welcome to De la Toque à l’Ane, where Claire and Patrick are your French and English hosts in their attractive traditional Saintonage house with lovely gardens and fields with horses, donkeys and animals farm around the house. The typically charentais style farmhouse with 3 very comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet can receive 10 or 12 people. Everything here makes you enjoy and relax : a nice garden with flowers and an orchard, quietness and a great overlooking on the beautiful country landscape. A comfortable sitting/dining room is here for guests with books and games. Tennis Table and garden furniture on Terrace under arbour invite for relax and distraction. Fields and Stables are available for Horses. The Haute Saintonge is located in Charente Maritime area (South West of France) and is well known and loved for its friendly people and diversity of landscapes and attractions – From our home, you can discover la Haute Saintonge with its Romanesque Churches, its windmills, its little ports on the estuary, and travel from Cognac to the Châteaux Bordelais to taste Cognac and marvellous Bordeaux wines.

Située au Nord-Ouest, c'est notre grande chambre familiale, qui bénéficie de la fraîcheur l'été ; la grande baie vitrée ouvre sur le jardin avec terrasse et salon pour prendre les repas dehors, et permet d'admirer le soir le coucher du soleil sur les prés des ânes et chevaux. Un escalier tout en bois conduit à la mezzanine offrant 2 à 3 lits de 90/190 ; En bas de l'escalier, deux lits jumelés de 80/200, au fond de la pièce à droite, une salle de bains (équipée d'une douche carrelée, de toilettes et d'un meuble-lavabo), et à gauche une kitchenette.
