    la Maison Chaudenay consists of a 5 bed roomed B and B in our 1800’s ‘bourgeoise’ Maison; a separate Cottage, and Apartment; an imposing central courtyard, a spectacular 17th c wine press room and 2 acres of peaceful park and gardens. In the eloquent words of a previous guest – la Maison Chaudenay is elegant but homey; has a calm location but is not isolated; with hosts who are friendly but not intrusive. (we blushed appropriately!) La Maison Chaudenay provides an authentic French countryside experience. We do not claim to be ‘nestled’ amongst vineyards, but a short cycle ride (and even shorter drive!) will take you to world famous vineyards such as Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Meursault, Pommard and Volnay.
