    We are closed until mid-June! Paula and Mike look forward to welcoming you to our comfortable old country house, which was remodelled in 1750, just before the Revolution. Quietly situated, with three double bedrooms each with a private ensuite bathroom, and one family room. A generous breakfast is served on a massive oak table in a heavily beamed salon, with wooden floors, open fireplaces and relaxing sofa's. Double French doors open onto the gardens. Dinner is available with prior notice. The beautiful and slightly wild gardens have many specimen trees, there is plenty of garaging and parking. Close to the Dordogne and Lot borders, about 25 minutes from the attractive towns of Brive la Gaillarde, and 20 minutes from Tulle. We are an easy to find 10 minutes from the A20 and A89 autoroutes, and as such make a convenient stop for those heading further south, or a good base to explore the Correze, the Lot and the Dordogne. Situated amidst rolling, wooded countryside, with magnificent views. The house was sold just once until the 20th Century, since when it's been our family home.

    we stayed here on our way to the south of France, coming from Holland. All comfort you wish for with respect for the original building. Nice and quiet after a day driving, beautiful garden with relaxing chairs. Paula makes a very good diner. I recommend this B&B to everyone. We stayed only one night, but if you have time; lots to see and do in the surroundings.

      We are about a 10 minute drive from the A20 autoroute. From the A20 autoroute take exit 46 (note: there are 2 exits marked 46, take the one signed Perpezac le Noir). Turn in an Easterly direction towards Lagrauliere on the D7. At the Y junction marked Chanteix, take the right fork direction Chanteix, staying on the D7. At the next crossroads see the sign L'Hopital (old French for hospitality). We are the big house immediately on the right, entrance beside the milestone.
