    Paula and Mike look forward to welcoming you to the chateau, which was built in 1750, just before the Revolution. A quietly situated comfortable old country house, with three double bedrooms each with a private ensuite bathroom, and one family room. A generous breakfast is served on a massive oak table in a heavily beamed salon, with wooden floors, open fireplaces and relaxing sofa's. Double French doors open onto the gardens. The beautiful and slightly wild gardens have many specimen trees, with plenty of garaging and parking. Close to the Dordogne and Lot borders, and thirty minutes from Brive la Gaillarde, twenty minutes from Tulle. We are an easy 10 minutes from the A20 and A89 autoroutes, and as such make a convenient stop for those heading further south, or a good base to explore the Correze, the Lot and the Dordogne. Quietly situated in rolling, wooded countryside, with magnificent views. The house was sold just once until the 20th Century, since when it's been our family home.

      We are about a 10 minute drive from the A20 autoroute. From the A20 autoroute take exit 46 (note: there are 2 exits marked 46, take the one signed Perpezac le Noir). Turn in an Easterly direction towards Lagrauliere on the D7. At the Y junction marked Chanteix, take the right fork direction Chanteix, staying on the D7. At the next crossroads see the sign L'Hopital (old French for hospitality). We are the big house immediately on the right, entrance beside the milestone.

      We are a little over an hour from Limoges airport, and 30 minutes from Brive Dordogne Valley airport, these are our nearest local airports. We are about 3 hours by road from Bordeaux airport.
