  • Le Moulin de la Girardiere is built around the tower of an old french windmill - set in the tranquillity of the french countryside and with its large garden it is the perfect place to get away from it all and just relax!
    Jasmin is a light airy room with cabriolet chairs and table for added comfort. Tea and coffee facilities are provided and the room has its own ensuite facilities comprising shower, toilet, handwash basin and heated towel rail. It benefits from the evening sun giving it a warm cosy glow. This room can also be used as a family room with the addition of bunkbeds and/or cot.
    Lavande is a pretty double room with tea and coffee facilities provided. It has its own ensuite facilities comprising shower, toilet, handwash basin and heated towel rail. The room has french doors opening onto a small terrace with its own table and chairs - making a nice spot to enjoy breakfast on a warm summer morning!

    Vanille - this is our twin bedded room downstairs - ideal for a single occupant or perhaps teenagers. Tea and coffee facilities are provided and the room benefits from its own ensuite shower with toilet, handwash basin and heated towel rail.

    Le Moulin de la Girardiere is built around the tower of an old windmill sitting in the quiet of the french countryside but only 6kms from the market town of Bressuire with its bars and restaurants and of course the weekly market. It makes an ideal base to explore the very diverse region known as the Deux Sevres.... whether you just want to discover the local towns and villages each with their own individual history and charm or you are looking for a more active time there is something for everyone - walking, cycling, fishing, horse-riding, karting, theme parks, etc. etc…… but whatever your reason you can rest assured you will receive a warm and friendly welcome from your Hosts - Alec and Jane .... Please note wef 01 January 2011 we are obliged to charge a local tourism tax called a "Taxe de Sejour" the rate for which is 0.75€ per person/per night. Tax applicable to 18 years and above only.
