A special Templar farming estate in the heart of Provence with delicious home made cooking fresh from the local gardens. Enjoy a relaxing and peaceful holiday in the green Provence with pool, lovely forest walks and beautiful vineyards. In spring, water gushes through the 400-acre estate: the 12th-century Knights Templar created myriad irrigation channels, the life-source of this stunning place. (Now it is proud possessor of the European Ecolabel.) The bastide keeps it fortress-like proportions and bags of character and charm. Martina and Claude love it all, have planted 3,750 trees, and have a sense of fun that makes a stay a treat. The main house is arranged around a central patio, with stairs leading to the bedrooms above. Simple Provençal furnishings are lit by huge windows, floors are terracotta, there are cosy 'boutis' quilts and sumptuous towels and linen, and bathrooms cleverly worked around original features. Breakfasts are scrumptious; dinners – meet the other guests – put the accent on Provençal produce and their own wine. In the cellar: music and a mini cinema.
At the highest point of the old farm, this provence accommodations nest is often booked by honeymooners. The decoration nicely fuses Provence and China. Double bed, large traditional bathtub and separated WC.

Pigs were well catered for: Three vaulted stone stalls and a pergola, facing South, now form a shaded open air terrace. On top is the accommodation with two single beds, a kitchenette, bathroom with shower and separate WC. A living room with veranda and mezzanine. Piglets of all forms have however crept back into the decoration.

Our b and b qualified for the European Ecolabel. This official validation of our dedication to sustainable development makes us proud. We continue to clear the underbrush in the forest in the most natural way: a herd of friendly donkeys. In order to adapt our lawns to the summer droughts we progressively replace them with aromatic herbs and soil-covers. They also attract more butterflies. We counted 67 different species during the past summer. This is a good sign that we can influence biodiversity for the better and offer our guests a healthy natural environment.
The small church in the forest is now renovated. We found documents that trace it back to at least 1050. It has become a popular destination for a cool and quit pause in walks through the estate. Three curious young donkeys scrutinize the shade of the renovated chapel.
