My husband Peter & myself spent a couple of nights at 'The Bluebell' in June 2011 during our tour around France & we considered it the best B & B in the whole 2300 miles!

We stumbled on the Bluebell just as we stumbled on Brantome. Both fruitful stumbles. The room, the hosts, and the breakfast were delightful. We will stay here the next time we visit the area. J&B, Woodbridge, CT

When you leave the airport follow the signs for Libourne then after that the signs for Perigueux. The toll road fee for the route to Perigueux is 8 or 9 euros. When you come off the toll road Brantome is signposted. It is a journey of approx. 2 and a half hours from the airport to our house. Our nearest TGV station is Angouleme (60 kms)
