    2 night stay

    October 11, 2012

My son and I stayed at Le Pigeonnier our first 2 days in Normandie September 27 and 28) and were very impressed. Our rating is outstanding on all criteria - Catherine is a fine inn keeper - helpful, unobtrusive, efficient - breakfasts included home made breads and jams, apple juice, fresh yogurt, fruit and a special - i.e. crepes or apple cake...and good coffee which was our choice. We were also guided to a really good farmhouse restaurant that was nearby but hard to find without Catherine's guidance. She made reservations for us. The B and B is a good base of operations for D-day exploration and visits to Bayeux

    June 13, 2010

This B&B is a real gem. Its owners are very welcoming and kindly provided helpful information. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with lovely furniture and a comfortable bed. The breakfasts were terrific--lots of delicious breads (many homemade) and pastries as well as excellent fresh coffee. There is also a calm and beautiful garden on the property. Ellen&Frank

We loved Le Pigeonnier in beautiful Normandy!

    June 12, 2010

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Le Pigeonnier! Catherine and Patrick are gracious hosts. Our comfortable bedroom was large and had lovely furnishings. The French-style breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden with a bottle of Calvados cider, thoughtfully provided by Catherine. Balleroy is a restful Normandy village with friendly citizens and a great bakery. Château de Balleroy, a 5 minute walk from the B&B, is well worth a tour. The Balloon Museum, located on chateau grounds, is one of the best in the world. The village is very close to Bayeux and the D-Day beaches. Frank Davis Lexington, Kentucky
