    Three was days not enough

    October 05, 2011

Micaela has created a wonderful retreat for the visitors to Avignon. She was warm and generous in her time and hospitality, The food was exceptional both in taste and presentation. The final night's dinner was a great surprise...she has the neighborhood baker make us a special dessert for our wedding anniversary. Given another chance to visit the region, we would most definity look to stay here again. We could not have asked for a more warm and memorable experience. Sue and Wayne Menomonie WI USA

    Chez Micaela is absolutely wonderful

    September 26, 2011

Micaela offered such a personal touch to our stay. She is a wealth of knowledge about the area and what to do. She was very helpful with all aspects of our travel and would take us on market and boulangerie visits. She shuttled us to the bus station and picked us up. Her home is beautifully decorated and she has an abundance of antiques and linen. Breakfast was unlike anything we got elsewhere and Micaela is a chef who can really cook. Her cooking lesson was outstanding.

Best B&B Experience in Several European Countries

    May 05, 2011

My husband and I had three fascinating days and nights in Avignon – thanks to Micaela. Not only is her home beautiful and comfortable, Micaela is unlike any other B&B host we’ve had in several European countries. She is generous and kind - she genuinely likes people. Micaela notices what her guests like and provides wonderfully. She took us to the flea market, produce shopping, and to her favorite bakery. My husband had her French cooking class and it was both delicious and delightful enjoying the dinner with Micaela, and others. We look forward to returning.

Cosy and quiet place to stay

    April 10, 2011

I spent two nights in Chez Micaela, after having spent one night at the Ibis Lodge in Avignon. Chez Micaela's was far superior - less expensive, incredibly good breakfast, a tastefully decorated home. Micaela is also a font of wisdom regarding places to visit in the region. When I told Micaela my friend was staying at a hotel nearby, she suggested I invite her over to breakfast - which I did, and which provided an excellent start to the day.

    Wonderful holiday Thank you Micaela

    November 03, 2010

Thank you for making our 8 days in Avignon so wonderful. Micaela you are a gem. Your hospitality was way beyond our expectations. Breakfasts were a delight with something different everyday, we did not get that anywhere else in the 7 weeks we were in France and Italy. You spoilt us and we Thank you again Jacqui & Ken, New Zealand

    Lovely house and innkeeper

    September 27, 2010

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Micaela's, who made us feel really at home at her place. Not only the house has an outstanding decoration and style, but it is also greatly located for visiting Avignon and its surroundings. I will recommend this place to all those who will travel in the area, and hope I will have the occasion to come back soon!

    Charming place

    September 21, 2010

My boyfriend and I spent three nights at Chez Micaela and I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The room was spacious and comfy, the food was delicious, and Micaela herself was very helpful in advising us how to get around and what sights to see in Avignon and the surrounding region. We will definitely stay there again the next time.
