  • Our 17th century house is in the centre of this historical market town of Ardres. Brasseries local shops and wine merchant all withink minutes of our front door. A Michelin star restaurant is just opposite!
    Our blue room is a large triple room with a double and single bed. The room overlooks our garden and has a private shower room on the landing and shared loo with one other room.
    The Yellow Room has an ensuite shower room with private loo on the landing next to its door. The view is over the cobbled square of Ardres and the 16th century Chapel.
    Green room has a velux window with a pretty en suite shower room and shared loo on the landing with one other room.
    The red room has three single beds and can be used for children sharing shower facilities with parents in another room. Singles travelling in a group who would share with the blue room's shower on the landing.

    Come and visit us in our 17th century house in the centre of Ardres. Twenty five minutes of straight road from the Channel Tunnel or the Ferries in Calais, we are situated in the cobbled centre of this historic town of Ardres. Ardres is close to the lovely coastline of Cote d'Opale, and Boulogne, St Omer, Le Touquet and the Belgium border are all within easy reach. We are an ideal stop over on your journey to or from holiday or stay for a 3 night break and visit the surrounding area. All Brasseries are minutes away on foot, walk around the lakes and visit the local shops selling local products, wine and other temptations!

    Hilary is English having lived and worked in France for 20 yrs now her retirement activity is the bed and breakfast and looking after this 17th century house which was a boarding school for girls in the second world war. Walking the dog with her french partner Patrick and gardening in the summer and reading and swimming in the winter are some of Hilary's hobbies.
