My wife and I felt very fortunate to find Howard and Peggy. We stayed with them in the fall of 2013, on our way to Dubois for Elk hunting. Howard and Peggy are two of the best folks I have met and their Bed and Breakfast is superb. I once was stationed at FE Warren there in Cheyenne many years ago, and was nice to be in the area again. Howard and Peggy went out of their way to make us feel welcome and taken cared of. Everything is clean and very well organized, a pleasant atmosphere and relaxing. Howard is a very good cook! If you are looking for a place to stay with culture and enjoy moving at a slower pace, then this is it. This is not a "Super 8", however, it is a home away from home for those liking this type of lodging. Will we stay here again? Yes we will. 5 Stars all the way around!

The Storeyteller Pueblo B & B is tucked away in a residential neighborhood north of downtown Cheyenne. Unassuming on the outside, you are pleasantly surprised upon entering this comfortable home. Decorated with a lifetime's worth of native american art of all types, quilts and antiques, the B&B has three guest rooms: One upstairs room with a down the hall bathroom, and two downstairs rooms, one en suite, and one with a down-the-hall bathroom. Downstairs has an additional sitting room with a large TV/DVD player, microwave, half refrigerator, and a comfortable sitting area--ask about its use when you make reservations. All rooms are spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and extra amenities, such as additional blankets and pillows, a fan, and a closet for your use. A tray with a pitcher, ice bucket, and glasses perches on the end of the beautifully made up bed. You can tell that a great deal of thought was given to making your stay as nice as possible. Howard makes a different and tasty breakfast each day, including coffee/tea, juice, fresh fruit, toast and an egg dish. I had four breakfasts and each one was very tasty. Howard and Peggy can answer your questions about what to do and where to go, and add details you just don't get from a guidebook. They are lovely people--thoughtful and present, but not at all intrusive. You can walk in the neighborhood or on a new greenbelt pathway for a little morning exercise. I would also recommend the short drive to the Cheyenne Botanical Gardens which is in a large, open park, and features a reservoir for fishing and picnicking areas; a wonderful Children's Garden where they can splash about in several water features, and other lovely and creative gardens. Perhaps you will see juvenile prairie falcons, as I did. If you are interested, Howard will tell you about the artwork in his collection. It is extensive, as is his knowledge. I can't imagine staying anywhere else while in Cheyenne.

After being on the road for 16 days, it was so nice to stay with Howard &Peggy who are very gracious hosts. The outside looks like a regular one story home but once inside you're in a Native American Museum. It incorporates art, pottery, baskets, amazing beadwork and rugs that represent over 50 tribes. We stayed downstairs in the suite which had a tv, refrigerator and microwave. The bedroom had a queen bed but the room was pretty small. It beautifully decorated. The bathroom only had a shower but what a great shower head! The beds were very comfortable. We went outside in the back and had a glass of wine before dinner. Breakfast was delicious. Howard made a vegetable frittata! Bacon, toast, choices of juice, fresh fruit with yogurt and of course coffee or tea. There was ample of food and it was wonderful. We wanted to stay in a small B&B to break the chain hotels and we were so glad we chose this place. Thank you for a wonderful evening,!

The whole house was nicely decorated in a Southwest theme. The breakfast was excellent and Peggy and Howard were wonderful. If we find ourselves passing through Cheyenne in the future, we would love to stay here.
