The Old Schoolhouse Bed & Breakfast

This was an amazing, beautiful B&B! The home is decorated with historical school-house decor and the detail. The hosts were kind, and very genuine. Setting was pleasant and extremely comfortable.

We have stayed in many B & B's and you cannot beat the hospitality and food you will find here!

For the past 2 years we have stayed here while attending the EAA airshow for a week. It was a wonderful, restful escape for us. Hosts are very hospitable.

To sleep in school as encouraged by the principal is unique. The converted school is darling and all the touches of school fun. Very pleasant owners and clean rooms.

We have stayed with Steve and Val on several occasions, in different seasons of the year. Everything about our visits at this charming B&B was exceptional, from the comfy beds, the cozy fireplace, and the spacious sitting areas, to the delicious weekend breakfast. We would certainly recommend The Old Schoolhouse Bed & Breakfast to all.

If you're tired of the impersonal hotel/motel scene, The Old Schoolhouse is a breath of fresh air. From the cozy, absolutely sparkling clean rooms to the scrumptious meals, our hosts provided us with comfortable lodging at a very affordable rate. We highly recommend this B & B.

We have stayed at this delightful B & B on 2 separate occasions within the past 3 years, so have experienced both Mrs. Hemps & Mr. Stickas 'classrooms'. The proprietors have created a warm and homey atmosphere while preserving the integrity of the building's history. There are a variety things to do within the area, such as shopping, dining, nature preserves, hiking, biking and of course attendance at the EAA extravaganza. This establishment comes highly recommended for it's warmth and charm.
