    Wonderful Experience

    My husband and I visited the area of Sturgon Bay for a weekend away. We were more than pleased with The White Lace and will definitely be returning in the future. The grounds were lovely, breakfast was wonderful, and Dennis was very helpful to us being first timers to the area.

    We were very pleased with everything. The bed was extremly comfortable, the whirl pool was wonderful and the the fireplaces were the best. I will definately come back to this place and just be happy to stay inside and never leave.

The bed is a magnificent walnut 1880&#8217;s Eastlake Victorian with a matching marble top dresser. The large tile bathroom has glass French doors and hand painted walls.

A sofa and two chairs are covered with white slipcovers and stand out glowingly from the curtains’ colorful spring floral linen fabric.     Beautiful & Relaxing

    We have been staying at the Inn for more than a decade. We always return for the peaceful and relaxing setting. The breakfasts are amazing. We always enjoy catching up with Dennis and the staff. It is the perfect place to reconnect with my husband with our busy lifestyles, especially around our anniversary. The Garden House is our favorite.

    Mini Escape

    White Lace Inn caught my eye while I searched for a short escape destination close to home. The house itself is gorgeous and I just absolutely love Victorian style buildings. We stayed in Room 4 in the Main House. It was pretty spacious and the amenities were nice. I was disappointed, however that the surround sound that was supposed to be included with the room (according to the website) was not hooked up. My boyfriend and I tried to see if we could hook it up ourselves but were unable to do so. It would have made our movie night a little more enjoyable. The owners were very nice and breakfast was delicious. I really enjoyed the homemade cookies in the cookie jar in the dining room. There was a dog roaming around the common rooms of the main house. He seemed friendly at first but he did snap at me while I was petting him at one point. Luckily he didn't actually bite me but I decided to steer clear of that dog after that. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the White Lace Inn and definitely recommend it for people looking for a stay in a historic home for a very reasonable price. We would visit again.
