We stayed in the Springside cottage side 1---an adorable half of a double quasi shot-gun cottage. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. I had never been to Mineral Point before and did not realize it is something of a little mecca for artists, especially potters. Someone clearly put a lot of thought into decorating the interior and included local pottery in the decor and it is very well maintained and cute. The welcome basket of bread and pastries is also a nice touch. The entry vestibulethe can only accomodate one person really--not sure what the local zoning laws have to say on the matter but I feel like that door should swing out and not in. The owners may have their hands tied on that one--it was pretty odd though. Otherwise the accomodations were quite spacious with a fully stocked eat-in kitchen, a separate living room with a day-bed and spacious bedroom with hardwood floors throughout.
4,4 sur 5Very Nice B&B

Brewery Creek Inn is a treasure. Room #6 is a lovely room with a lot of space - bathroom was huge. Very clean, quiet, everything worked. Fireplace was warm and cozy. One thing - a coffee pot in the room would have been nice. Coffee in the lounge was available in the morning starting at 7:30 - a bit late for an early riser so the option of being able to brew a pot in the room would have been nice. Outstanding fresh sourdough bread was available for breakfast. Nice touch.
5 sur 5My Birthday get-away
avril 25, 2013
Brewery Creek Inn is beautiful & comfortable. The owners, Jeff & Deborah were gracious & welcoming. The food was fantastic. It was a great get-away for my 60th birthday. The weather was cold & rainy but we were very comfortable in our room, sitting by the fireplace, sipping wine each evening. We will definitely go back. Everyone we met in Mineral Point was warm & friendly.
4,4 sur 5Wonderful historic inn, beautifully restored.

Rooms are very comfortable, spacious and beautifully appointed with period furniture, and art, yet contemporary in spirit. The renovation of the 19th C Inn is quite good, with architectural elements preserved, yet without the "old barn" feeling. The morning coffee was good, but we felt that for the price, which is not cheap for a room overnight, the breakfast could have been a bit more extensive, as there were no hot dishes offered. Particularly as there seem to be few good breakfast options in the area, and surprisingly, no good espresso to be found anywhere (The Grey Dog doesn't make it). We've stayed at less expensive B&Bs where the owner himself would cook breakfast to order for you. (Evolo's in Minneapolis) The Brewery Creek Inn has the personal feeling of a B&B rather than a hotel, and perhaps this is why we felt that the morning was less exquisite than the evening. Notwithstanding this concern, we highly recommend the Inn, and the beer, as well! Be sure to visit Foundry Books next door, and the Longbranch Gallery, and Wantoot! Also Kusaka the amazing traditional Japanese ramen cafe with no sushi!

I stayed at the end of the winter season,I did not have the opportunity to dine here so I cant comment on that. I did however get to experience, one on one royal treatment as i stayed a couple Monday nights. I was there on buisness. One should consider stayiong on an off night....Nutshell, it"s beautiful, clean, and quite. Both mornings I enjoyed the continental breakfast, plenty to fill you up as you are on your way. Keep up the good work.
4,6 out of 5Blissful stay at Brewery Creek
avril 17, 2013
the rooms, were so well appointed, elegant and comfortableI was there to teach 2 workshops, and the owners really helped make it more as much business as pleasure. the hosts went beyond the call of duty to be sure I had what I needed, including having breakfast out early, and even lending me tools I needed to teach my workshop! I would come back in a heartbeat, and am already planning another pleasure visit!

I would love to go back for another stay. Beautiful decor. Immaculate. I felt free to come and go without disturbing other guests. Owners were friendly but not intrusive. A fun walk to other restaurants. Lots of local history and architecture.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 days during the middle of the week - it was lovely! Very calm and relaxing. The tub is great, the brew pub is great, and the owners are friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to go back again.
