  • Bienvenue au Inn Helvetica une maison originale suisses des années 1800 avec un salon de thé de charme, 3 chambres, et le stockage du cycle à l'intérieur. L'auberge est une maison de séjour et se situe au seuil de New Glarus dans une région souvent appelée back-ville. Vous serez à distance de marche des nombreux festivals de New Glarus, la piste cyclable du sucre rivière, le tour historique du village siècle, la Suisse, et les nombreux magasins de charme, des tavernes et restaurants au centre-ville New Glarus. Juste à l'extérieur de la porte arrière est un pâturage à vaches abandonnées et une grange ancienne colline laitiers embrassé par antan. Un environnement calme et rural vous accueille ainsi que, d'une tasse de thé merveilleuse qui rend tout meilleur.

    Cozy atmosphere and our 2nd time visiting.

    Every time we have stayed at Helvetica Inn we felt like we were visiting our family homestead. Lynda is a delight to be around and New Glarus has the atmosphere that reminds us of home. Love the many bike trails, the fun taverns and restaurants. We even spent the day at the pool. Our goal is to stay in every room at the Inn including the charming little overflow room. So far we have stayed in the Hosely Room which has the best bed I have ever slept in. Lynda told us it is a Kingsdown and rather expensive and just amazingly comfortable. The room has a large private deck with a fountain and you can see many constellations. The Gerber Room is super private and cozy. When we stayed in that room it was a little cold outside and we used the electric woodstove and felt like we were in a little cabin in the woods. Another comfortable bed and we never woke up until 10 AM. Fortunately, Lynda was kind enough to still provide us with breakfast and we just love the quiche she serves. We just love this Inn and Lynda is just the sweetest person. We are looking forward to our next stay which will be the Calderon Room. Helvetica Inn is also tucked towards the back of the village but you can still walk everywhere. You are totally off the beaten track and no road noise.

    Wonderful Inn and Great Location!

    Helvetica Inn is a beautiful home in a great location. Great views and fantastic innkeeper. Lynda will make you feel right at home and cooks a great breakfast! My husband and I have been there twice already, and we cannot wait to go back again.

    Peaceful escape

    Lynda was as a wonderful host and gave my wife and I a very peaceful escape without having to drive far from Madison. New Glarus is full of character and great biking!

    Very friendly innkeeper; very tastefully decorated; bed very comfortable; extremely convenient for the services in town; Gerber suite is a good value. We would go there again.

    A great value when visiting New Glarus

    Helvetica Inn is nice little 3 bedroom B&B within walking distance to many of New Glarus's restaurants and bars. The owner, Lynda, was very easy to talk to and welcoming. The pictures do justice to all the rooms and the Jack & Jill bathroom was very clean and updated. Overall, very reasonably priced for a nice getaway.

    A great night's sleep!

    We stayed at the Helvetica Inn towards the end of a 10 day road trip through Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Innkeeper Lynda was friendly and welcoming, and her bed and breakfast was a great place to rest our heads before visiting the New Glarus Brewery just a few minutes away. We slept like the dead in the Gerber Suite, and enjoyed breakfast and conversation with Lynda the next morning. If you're going to be spending the night in New Glarus, definitely spend it here!

    Lynda was wonderful and it was such a cute romantic place! Located in a great location near downtown and a mile from the New Glarus Brewery. We would definitely spend another weekend there! My boyfriend and I loved this place!
