    20th Anniversary Getaway

    My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic time at the Belle Isle Inn. I happened to stumble across the website and fell in love. We have never felt so pampered and indulged in our trips.     Best place to stay!

    My girlfriend and I spent a night recently at the Belle Isle Inn and just fell in love. I had never been to a bed and breakfast before and I think now I may be too spoiled to try anywhere else. From our arrival, which was late, we could tell just how serious Tia and Scott were about making our experience as personal as possible. Scott had assisted us in getting our bags upstairs, and Tia was quick to follow us up with an incredible bruscetta and a carafe of wine. being the only guests present, we were allowed to select either room and we stayed in the king room which was just a treasure. From the furniture to the art, all of it is truly top notch and selected with a great eye for atmosphere and style. The bed was comfortable, the fireplace warm, and the overall feel like being home. The next morning, we were treated to a breakfast that would shame a 5 star restaurant. I have worked in both the restaurant and hotel business, and have never been spoiled with such an elaborate breakfast. Wave after wave of food came to us each one more tasty than the last. Served in a beautiful dinning room that made us feel like we were a king and queen. Then as we finished our meal, we had a chance to visit with Tia and she is just such a delightful host that we had vowed to not only return, but to tell everyone about our wonderful stay. It is a rare occurrence when you can find a place with such a high level of comfort, value, and service such as this. I have paid twice as much for less than half of the experience we had in the Chicago area where we are from. We can not wait to return and enjoy yet another extraordinary experience at the Belle Isle. Thanks again to Tia and Scott from both of us, Chris and Kim

    Spoiled, or what?

    We spent 2 nights at the most wonderful Inn. Our first stay at a B&B. Loved it. the food was amazing, hosts are incredibly friendly and down to earth. We are already trying find a time to go back and see them again. We were pampered with wonderful meals and the most comfortable room. Lovely home. Thank you Tia and Scott. Bruce and Kathy 9/16&17/11

    Belle Isle Inn - Nice Place

    Tia and Scott were very nice and gave great service. A very nice old home and well maintained. It felt like sleeping in your own bed at home and not like staying at a Holiday Inn, so that is great! That area in Wisconsin is a wonderful scenic place to visit during the time we did (last week in August) and comfortable B&B's like this make it very fun and relaxing. Overall, it was a good and fun stay.

    A lovely place to stay in northern Wisconsin

    I stayed at the Belle Isle Inn for the first time in July 2011. The innkeepers, Tia and Scott Bellisle, could not have been more friendly or accommodating. Their pets, Baileys the cat and Lucky the dog, were also very well-mannered and friendly. The inn is located on a residential street off of Hwy 42 just blocks from Lake Michigan. The rooms are immaculate, large and well decorated, especially if you like antiques. The only potential drawback is that all guests (up to 6) have to share a single bathroom and the room that I stayed in had no place to hang up your clothes. The guest lounge has a frig stocked with a complimentary assortment of cool beverages which was great as it was hot and there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms (although the ceiling fan and breeze off of the lake kept the room comfortable). The breakfast, served in the downstairs dining room, was delicious and featured local produce. Belle Isle Inn deserves another visit in cooler weather to take advantage of the fireplaces which are in each guest room. This is a great, laid back location and I would definitely stay there again.

    We're very pleased that you enjoyed your "traditional B&B experience" and am soooo sorry that we apparently forgot to tell you about the hand carved, pop-up clothes hangers that are cleverly hidden, in plain sight, on the back of each dressing room door. Our sincere appologies ;)

    Perfect Getaway Near Door County

    We had wonderful and relaxing stay with Tia, Scott, Lucky (their puggle) and Baileys (their persian cat) It felt like staying with friends. We were the only ones there for 2 nights so it was more like a suite than a room. We had the entire upper floor to ourselves. The house is beautiful and imaculate as well as exquisitely furnished. Tia thought of everything. The breakfasts were out of this world. We highly recommend this if your anywhere near door county. We ate at the Stebbins Hotel both nights and it was beyond excellent.     And we thoroughly enjoyed the two of you!!! We generally keep the "occupancy" at the Inn to 1 or 2 rooms so you as guests can really enjoy the "traditional feeling" of our 100+ year old home and it is comfortable for Tia to give attention to "Inn detail" without compromising her titanium ankle replacement!
