  • La Chambre O'Connell une chambre très romantique grande avec un lit à baldaquin queen, a augmenté de couette couverte et plein d'oreillers. Accompagné par un bain complet, cette chambre fait tout le monde "séjour mémorable.
    Entièrement restaurée, la maison et la cabine ont été placés sur le registre national des Demeures historiques en 1990.
    La cabine est enregistré au début des années 1790 et a été construit pour les propriétaires d'origine de vivre dans tout le bâtiment principal était en cours de construction. La cabine offre une cuisine complète pour votre commodité.
    Construit en 1819 par le maître maçon John Dunn, la maison a commencé sa vie comme une ferme commandait plus de 1300 acres de terre.

    Le James Wylie House est situé dans le village de White Sulphur Springs, à la base des montagnes Allegheny. Construit en 1819 pour Greenbrier poineer, Richard Dickson, la propriété a évolué à partir d'une ferme de plus de 1300 acres à une pension de famille.     We had a delightful visit here in October 2011. Monica, the innkeeper, was very helpful and even provided us with interesting history stories as well as local information. We would definitely stay there again.

    We Keep Coming Back For More

    This is the second time we have stayed at the James Wylie House and each time has been the highlight of our vacation trip. We travel up from Texas and look forward to the host's breakfasts and charming conversation. We have rented the log cabin each time because of the number of family that joins us there and love the history of the house and cabin, the easy access, the accurate era furnishings, and the delicious morning meal. Our stays are generally for a week and every morning Monica greets us with hot coffee, cold juice and a culinary surprise that is guaranteed to delight your palate. Our first stay in 2009, another guest had picked some blueberries nearby and Monica treated all the guests to a freshly made berry breakfast dessert. This time it was our turn as black raspberries were ripe for the picking along a local country road. Monica turned these into a wonderful raspberry crisp for all the guests. I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed with either the accomodations or the hospitality you will receive.

    Homelike Feeling

    My husband and I were traveling to celebrate our 30th anniversary and had read the reviews before booing the room. I don't know that I could say anything more than has already been said, but it was a very homelike feeling. Extremely clean and breakfast was not only excellent, but there was something to satisfy anyone’s appetite. Well done. The innkeeper was very accommodating and we would go back.

    A gem in White Sulphur

    This was a most pleasant experience and we are not normally bed and breakfast users. The Owner was incredible and the ambiance of the Inn was superb. The breakfast was lovely on the charming outside porch. We are planning to return. Why stay at the Greenbriar when you can enjoy the peace and quiet on Monica's lovely porch! The rooms are nice and well decorated. Enjoy, we did!
