Fantastic welcome, cakes and drinks available at any time and lovely clean room with a view over a deck into the valley. Woken up in the morning with drinks on a tray, followed by a really good breakfast. Add to that the great location and it's pretty perfect (in our view). We spent three weeks travelling the West Coast and didn't find anywhere that bettered Misty Valley. We recommend Misty Valley highly and without any reservation or qualification.

Continues to be a wonderful experience

5 sur août 26, 2014

This is our second time at the Inn, the first being about six years ago. The service and convivial atmosphere were great, and the room appointments continue to be outstanding, with many little improvements and upgrades from our previous stay. The trees in the Misty Valley are a little taller, making the view from the deck even more appealing. The breakfasts continue to be a gourmet paradise, with a choice of six different and exotic main courses. And you wake up with a gentle knock letting you know your coffee/tea tray has been delivered to your room. All in all, another fantastic stay!

Lovely stay at Misty Valley Inn

4,8 sur août 25, 2014

We had a rare opportunity to be with our three adult children for a few days of hiking in Olympic National Park. We found Misty Valley Inn a perfect setting for this get-together. The owners are wonderfully thoughtful and the Inn was just the right place from which to explore the Park (after a delicious breakfast) and to return to for evening dessert and relaxation!

Beautiful break

5 sur août 25, 2014

We stayed for one night in August in the French Room during a Pacific Northwest tour and loved the misty Valley b and b. Wonderful hospitality, amazing breakfast (taken on the deck with the local stellar jays) and a romatic evening hot tub under the stars. The room was lovely and the supply of cakes and teas in the communal reading/dining area delicious. Easy to find and well-located for the Olympic National Park area, including Rialto beach and the Hoh Rainforest. Highly recommended.

Our Favorite B&B

4,8 sur août 18, 2014

Misty Valley Inn is our unanimous choice for favorite Bed and Breakfast after three extended vacations to the Pacific Northwest. The warmth and hospitality of Rachel and Jim and their staff is second to none. The peacefulness of the valley along withe] the atmosphere of the inn is just what we need to refresh ourselves while juggling a stressful job and 2 special needs kiddos. From the gentle wake-up knock, to the tray with fresh flowers and coffee/tea/cocoa to order, to the amazing breakfast that lasts you all day, to getting to choose when you want breakfast, to the dessert bar, to the wealth of information about the Olympic Peninsula,to the proximity to beaches, rain forest and mountains, we have nothing but praise for this wonderful place. We have now stayed in three of the four room choices. All have their charm but the English Room is our favorite. Yes, we keep returning trip after trip to the Misty Valley Inn and we are already talking about next time. Can't wait!

Great base for Olympic Rain forest

4,6 sur août 17, 2014

Lovely place and very clean. The Bennetts were extremely nice and very helpful about places to visit and places to eat. We used Forks as a base for visiting the Northwest corner the Olympic Peninsula and saw the rain forest and the ocean parts of the park.

Home away from home

Stayed for two nights. The breakfasts were delicious with many choices! Rachel and Jim were excellent hosts. This inn is a repeat stay!

Best B&B in 30 years

Best B&B in 30 years traveling USA and Europe. Gourmet breakfasts every morning...beautiful view from the deck...owner and staff went out of their way to be helpful and attentive to our needs.

Hidden White salmon

Nice little hotel in cute little town perched atop the hill. Nice knowledgable people at the counter. Nothing fancy but really good value.

Nice B&B by Forks standards with exceptional food and service.

If you stay in a lot of B&Bs, this may not be what you're expecting. This is not a situation where there is a firm separation between the B&B and the family's home with a common area just for B&B guests and a tidy kitchen. This is a B&B within the owners' home. The common room is the family's living room where they hang out and watch TV. The kitchen is used for their private use and crafts; it is clean but cluttered. You will encounter the owners outside of check-in and breakfast. It is more like visiting friends than staying at a B&B. It does seem to be the nicest option by Forks standards. Rachel is friendly, helpful, and a wonderful chef. She will greet you with loads of information and dinner menus. Her afternoon dessert buffet is decadent. The breakfast is delicious, plentiful, and elegant. The coffee tray is a nice touch. As long as you know what to expect, it's a good place to stay in Forks.
