Hedman House, A Bed & Breakfast

I was in Puyallup for business and accommodations were made by the client. Normally wouldn't stay at a B&B for business but I'm glad I did in this case. In-and-out was no problem and the breakfasts were awesome. Bed was very comfortable (much better than any hotel) and I slept like a rock. Everything was super accessible and clean. If I ever visit Puyallup again I would not hesitate to stay again.

If this was a hotel it would have 5 stars. Lovely people, beautiful B & B and fantastic breakfasts. Need i say more? Wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else on are next vist to Puyullap to visit family. In fact, can honestly say we are looking forward to are next stay and meeting up with Normajean and Neil again. Immaculately kept. Innkeepers friendly and welcoming, but never intrusive. Food is fantastic, both in taste and presentation... even for my friend who requires gluten-free. We had a wonderful time, and hope to come again.

Normajean and Neil Hedman made us very comfortable. Breakfast was fit for a king or queen. Beds so comfy. Hosts very accommodating.

Attended the Goodguys car show on 7/26-28 and stayed at the Hedman House. This was out 9th year at the Hedman House and it always amazes me how wonderful they make our stay feel like you are staying with family friends. The fresh flowers, beautiful table settings and cool car dispalys just added to the Goodguys weekend. We look forward to our annual visit and enjoy being totally spoiled. You will NOT be disappointed!

This was truly the nicest B&B we have ever stayed at - from the neat and clean room to the scrumptious breakfast each morning. The innkeepers, Normajean and Neil, were helpful and friendly, and the other guests were a pleasure to get to know. It was hard to believe we were sharing a bathroom with two other rooms - not usually something I like to do - but I wouldn't hesitate to do so here again. Next time we're in Puyallup, WA, this is where we'll stay!!!

We just finished our third stay at Hedman House. It is a lovely place that has abundance charm and warm, friendly hosts. We feel like we're part of the family when we're there. Normajean not only helps you figure out places to go, she loves to hear your stories about yesterday's adventures. We look for reasons to go to Puyallup now. Her breakfasts are the best.

We had never stayed at a B&B before but know this must be the best there is! Beautiful home, outstanding breakfasts and friendly innkeepers. The Hedman House is immaculate and has many personal touches (chocolates on the bed, bottled water in the mini fridge, amenities in the bathrooms.....) It is close to the Puyallup Fair and downtown (we walked back and forth several times during the day). We plan on making it an annual visit to this B&B...you should too!

My Granddaughter and I chose Hedman House for a one night stay while we attended a concert at the Puyallup fair. It was the best decision ever. As we pulled up to the curb a sense of peace came over you and you could tell this is a home built with love. Neil greeted us at the door after we had admired the landscaping and beauty of the exterior for several minutes. Upon entering we soon realized the outside was just a teaser. Comfort and tranquility are the two words that readily describe their home. Our room was spacious and cheery and filled with beautiful antique furniture. My granddaughter had never stayed at a bed & breakfast and I'm so glad I was able to share this experience with her. The beauty of the home, the wonderful hospitality and the excellent breakfast made it an extra special time for both of us. Mary Martinsen

From the moment we pulled in front of the Hedman House, we felt invited. The landscaping is beautiful, the front porch is the kind where you just want to stay a while. Neil met us at the front door, gave us the tour, as we oo'd and awe'd our way through. The thought to detail was apparent in each room, we loved our names in the scrabble pieces on the buffet!! The breakfasts were great, Amber was wonderful......Hedman House was definetly the highlight of the weekend for us. We spent two days at the Scrapbook Expo at the fairgrounds, but really looked forward to going back "home", and really regretting leaving in the mornings. Hedman House will most definitly be the place of choice on any future visits to Puyallup!

Our eighth year of Hedman House excellence as we attended the Goodguys Car Show 7/22-7/24/2010.We look forward to our visit every year as the breakfast is out of this world and so much of it. The entire house is finely decorated and the bedrooms are so very comfortable. Try sitting on the front porch and just relax, it's worth the entire visit. Great people and a great visit!!

Hedman House is a home away from home--light, clean and comfortably decorated. Normajean and Neil are always welcoming and very enthusiastic about their home town. They take great pride in their business and are very knowledgeable about good restaurants, day trips and the community. Best of all Normajean is a wonderful cook and has produced countless tasty, hot breakfasts for me and my family. She will modify for special diets. With only two rooms, the inn is quiet and welcoming. It is the only place we stay when we are in the Puyallup area. What a treat!

My husband was hesitant to stay at a Bed and Breakfast at first, but WOW, now the only place we stay while in the Puyallup area is at Hedman House. Not only is it a beautiful home, but it's immaculate and your every need is met. The breakfasts are the best we've ever eaten, and presented so beautifully. The Hedmans are wonderful hosts and the price can't be beat. You get way more than you bargained for at this bed and breakfast!
