A Perfect Inn

Beautiful Inn and setting, tastefully decorated, extremely friendly and helpful staff and owners, excellent breakfasts and the dinners were superb. P

The Historic Inn will make you welcome.

4,4 sur juin 16, 2015

Rabbit Hill Inn is a large B&B, built originally as an inn. It has 19 guestrooms, on four levels. All are comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. Some are very large and luxurious, with fireplaces and large sitting areas, but even the smaller rooms are fine, and compare favorably with rooms in many other B&Bs. There is a large dining room that is known for its good dinners and breakfasts. You will be welcomed warmly by your hosts, Leslie and Brian, and Don. Rarely have we met a team that radiates such genuine warmth and friendliness. They clearly like people and enjoy being innkeepers. They will arrange dinner reservations and activities for you with great attention to detail, better than the concierge service we have encountered ant many fine resorts. One of the highlights of our stay was a scenic ATV tour of a nearby area, and the Inn packed us a picnic lunch to take along. There are large, comfortable, common rooms on the first floor. One of them includes a bar where you can enjoy beverages, including beers on tap, and wines by the glass. Each afternoon, a very nice selection of small treats is set out for all to enjoy. Since this is a historic structure, stairways are long and steep. There are no elevators. If climbing stairs is difficult for you, consider taking a room on the first floor. From the parking area, there is a ramped walkway up to the first floor. It is a gravel/stone walkway, but it is not difficult to roll a suitcase along it up to a rear porch/deck, into the hallway, and be quite near the first floor rooms. I would recommend this for anyone who has a problem climbing stairs. I should also mention that the staff is quick to offer help with luggage. We think you will be pleased with your stay at this Inn.

A Bed & Breakfast with a Personal Touch

5 sur juin 04, 2015

Brian and Leslie - and the staff welcome you with a personal manner that makes one feel at home and very comfortable. Their approach is to make certain that your every need is of great importance to them and they make every effort to insure that your stay is very much up to ones expectations. The room was very comfortable and well cared for - the breakfasts are special each and every day - and the nightly meals are especially well done - with extraordinary choice and cooked to perfection. You will not be disappointed. Dan & Pat Knight

A blissful retreat

5 sur mai 16, 2015

The first time we went to the Rabbit Hill Inn, we felt like visiting royalty. The second time we were welcomed like cherished family members. Innkeepers Leslie and Brian Mulcahy are the warmest, sweetest people you could ever hope to meet. I'd cheerfully spend an evening in a sandpit with them, just to enjoy their company. But oh - the Rabbit Hill Inn is just magnificent! It's full of lovely antiques and old books. Its rooms are exquisitely comfortable and beautiful. The cuisine is decadently delicious. Its staff is always cheerfully available to see to whatever you need. Do take advantage of their packages! We enjoyed a canoe trip with one of their wonderful picnic lunches and had such a fun time! But then, an evening spent with a glass of wine enjoying one of their addictive Stave jigsaw puzzles is every bit as nice. My husband never has to ask me what I want to do for a birthday or anniversary. The answer is always "Let's go to the Rabbit Hill Inn."

Would stay again

Rabbit Hill Getaway

5 sur mai 05, 2015

The folks a Rabbit Hill are wonderful. Leslie, Brian, and Don couldn't have been more welcoming and warm towards us and all of their guests. The room (Cedar Glen) was like being in a log cabin with all of the amenities, Hot tub, large shower, king size bed and fireplace. Afternoon tea and other goodies were available to welcome us to our new home away from home for the night. Dinner in their newly remodeled dinning room was first class, and breakfast the next morning was superb. My wife and I are already talking about another visit in the fall.
