Wish we could have stayed longer

5 sur août 05, 2016

My son and I were touring the college near by so we stayed at Cedars for its convenient location but boy was it so much more than that. The staff upgraded our room to a larger one at no extra cost and the George Washington Room was perfect. The breakfast was delicious- we ate until we were stuffed and the fun part of breakfast was celebrating birthdays and anniversaries with the other guests at the B &B. Bob took beautiful pictures of my son and me and the other guests. We felt at home and wished we could have stayed longer. It's also walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. So over all an excellent choice for any traveler.

Fantastic Anniversary Getaway

We had a wonderful at the Cedars and in Williamsburg. The location to Colonial Williamsburg and the College of William and Mary could not have been better as we were within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Bob was a wonderful host, the food was very good, and the little touches here and there made it really special. Thanks for a great weekend. Hiram and Grace

Lovely engagement stay!

4,8 sur juillet 20, 2016

I stayed here with my new fiance to celebrate our engagement which was earlier that day. It was a spectacular experience and one of the nicest stays I've ever had. The owner, Bob, was exceedingly friendly and genial. He made a point of congratulating me and my fiance, as well as taking a whole slew of complementary photos (many of which were quite creative and a lot of fun to take).Couldn't ask for a more delicious breakfast. The room, the Lord Boutetourt, was situated in a lovely cottage and was beautifully and tastefully decorated. Overall, an outstanding experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and memorable B&B stay in Williamsburg

One of the many things that make Innkeeping so much fun is sharing special moments with our guests. Birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons and proposals are just a few examples. It is heartwarming to see the happy times in people's lives every single day. You are both special people and hope your life together is fill with fun and happiness. Let's connect on Facebook so we can keep up with the happy events. All the best and congratulations. Sincerely, Grace & Bob Tubbs & Staff Cedars of Williamsburg B&B PS Enjoy the photos.

A great place to experience the historic charm of Williamsburg!

4,6 sur juillet 10, 2016

Charming, historic and unique bed and breakfast conveniently located to the University of William and Mary and to Colonial Williamsburg. My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend and loved it! They even put up a small sign congratulating us in the foyer. Service was very friendly, breakfast was delicious and served buffet-style in the house's breakfast nook. The room was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was small, but fit the character of the room. Overall great experience, would love to stay here again!

The Frey's at the Cedars

4,0 sur juin 05, 2016

We stayed at the Cedars in April for three nights. When we arrived we were to fine out they upgraded our room at no charge. It was a very pleasant stay. The Breakfast was perfectly served in a very quaint room. The innkeeper was very friendly and served as a guide to the Williamsburg area. Pointing out and directing us to all the sites to see. He also told us about the history of the Inn and area. We would choose to stay there again if we go back to the area.

Greetings Freys and thanks for the wonderful feedback. When we can, a room upgrade is fun. Folks don't expect and really do appreciate it. A little perk of an innkeeper's job. We look forward to a future visit. All the best. Grace & Bob Tubbs and Staff Cedars of Williamsburg B&B
