    Nichés au cœur de la tradition des maisons de plantation officielle de la 18ème siècle. Le Virginia Cliffe Inn est niché parmi les arbres à Glen Allen, 12 miles au nord de Richmond, VA seulement deux miles de la I-95. Les 6 hectares au sol des fronts sur le chemin Mountain historique près de bons restaurants, boutiques et sites historiques. Les motifs comprennent un étang avec un cygne et un belvédère. Les quatre chambres spacieuses dans la maison principale comprend deux king-size, et de deux chambres queen. La suite a une salle attenante pour les invités supplémentaires. Toutes ont salle de bain privée et sont décorées individuellement. Le Virginia Cliffe Inn est situé à seulement 10 minutes du Jardin botanique de Lewis Ginter, Le Musée des Beaux-Arts, le Musée des sciences, La Virginia State Capital, l'église Saint-Jean où Patrick Henry a donné son mémorable «donne-moi la liberté ou donnez-moi la mort" plaidoyer et en bas historiques Shockoe riveraines.

    Gracious Southern Hospitality at this B&B

    We had the pleasure of staying at this B&B recently which is full of gracious southern hospitality & was a beautiful location for my niece's wedding held on the grounds at the gazebo as a wonderful outdoor venue. The care & attention to detail this family run establishment takes in making the guests feel at home is only exceeded by the full breakfast-all homemade by Miss Margaret & her staff-served to us the next morning before we had to leave. Our only regret was that we were unable to stay a few more nights.

    Home away from Home

    Virginia Cliffe Inn was wonderful. Our daughter got married on the grounds. The venue was beautiful and expertly handled. We had all the comforts of home during our stay. I would recomend Virginia Cliffe Inn to everyone that wants a special place to stay.

    Gracious Southern Home and Hospitality

    This lovely B&B was an oasis of calm on our busy Virginia vacation. The inn is situated down a long driveway surrounded by trees, lawns, flowers, even a pod. The accommodations are lovingly maintained, with each room named after a family member. Breakfast each morning was delicious, topped off by enjoyable conversation with our delightful innkeeper.

    Excellence in Glen Allen

    We stayed four nights with Margaret at the Virginia Cliffe Inn and they were all great. Our room was spacious and comfortable with lovely old furnishings; breakfasts were delicious and it was really nice to be able to talk to other guests as well as Margaret, who breakfasted with us. We were doing our own tour of some of the Civil War Battlefields and gleaned a lot of information form the guests and from Margaret and her family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future.

    Margaret & James (décédé) ont ouvert leur maison de style géorgien comme une auberge en 1998. James, un entrepreneur général a construit la maison en 1896 démonté l'original ferme sur la propriété et la construction de leur maison en utilisant tous les matériaux utilisables de la vieille maison. Margaret est fier de sa cuisine de la mode ancienne maison. L'auberge accueille également les mariages permettant hébergement famille et amis pour l'événement.

    First Time B&B Excellent Experience!

    My fiancee live in D.C. and needed to get out of the concrete jungle. We saw this inn on the website, and loved what we saw, when we arrived it was just as quaint and welcoming as the pictures showed. We were greeted by Mrs. Clifton the owner who was so welcoming. The whole house and bedrooms were everything we wanted for our quiet getaway. We went into historic Richmond for dinner and came back for a relaxing summer night. In the morning Mrs. Clifton prepared a wonderful breakfast for us and we sat and talked in the dining room that looks out to the beautiful backyard with a lake. Mrs. Clifton gave us a wonderful Richmond history lesson. It was just the place, comfort, and wonder hospitality we wanted and we will definitely be going back very soon.

    A Glen Allen Surprise

    My wife and I needed a place to stay overnight after a holiday party as we live 50 miles from town. The Virginia Cliffe Inn was a most pleasant alternative to a motel. The grounds were beautiful, even in the snow, and the service was excellent. My favorite part, however, was the wonderful full breafast we enjoyed with the innkeeper, Mrs. Clifton. We shall return!
