Bienvenue dans l'historique Morris Harvey House Bed & Breakfast. Détendez-vous au coeur du quartier historique Fayetteville et prendre un "Step Back in Time" avec un mélange doux de l'antique de charme et d'élégance écrit cette belle maison. Construit en 1902, cette maison a été entièrement restaurée et est inscrite sur le registre national des maisons historiques. Se détendre et profiter de cette maison victorienne de trois étages qui a été entièrement rénovée avec aimer les soins, mettant en vedette élégamment meublées chambres, des tapis orientaux et des couleurs douces. Chaque chambre est spécial. Nous avons six chambres invité, de nombreux foyers et leur propre bains privés. Cette maison a été la première maison dans la région de se vanter intérieur de plomberie avec elle est unique et complexe pluie système de collecte : un réservoir de 800 gallons de cuivre au deuxième étage. Mais aujourd'hui, vous apprécierez les salles de bains rénovés complète avec baignoires de laiton antique à pieds et fin de siècle "water-closets".

My husband and I were travelling on a 25th wedding anniversary trip and were on the last leg of our trip back home and stopped in Fayetteville and stayed at the Morris Harvey House. This was a delightful, well appointed and very clean home. Bernie, our host, was gracious and welcoming and very laid back. The location is perfect to spend some time at the Three River Gorge, which we did the next day. Bernie had a ton of information available about the area, with hiking guides and even a CD to listen to while taking a scenic drive. This was a perfect way to see some of the area, learn about some of the history and be able to do it over a short period of time, we totally enjoyed it and are thrilled that all the information was available right at the B & B. This is a beautiful place and we hope to come back when we can visit longer. I would certainly recommend this property and would love to stay here again. Finally the breakfast was wonderful - served on the buffet in the dining room, there was plenty of variety to please any palette, and the food was delicious. I must say that we were coming from at 4 star accommodation down in Savannah, and this breakfast blew the breakfast at the previous location away. We met some fun and interesting people at the B&B and would recommend it highly.

The Morris Harvey House was a wonderful retreat from our busy days in the Fayetteville/New River Gorge area. Bernie, the innkeeper, was lovely. He had many suggestions on the area and what to do and his breakfast was OUTSTANDING!!!! I would return just for the breakfast alone, but the inn was lovely as well, very comfortable and quiet. We sat on the porch in the evening to look at the photos we took during the day. There are many good restaurants close by. I highly recommend staying here. We are already planning our next trip back and will absolutely stay at the Morris Harvey House again.

La salle de Harvey est également située au deuxième étage. Il dispose d'un lit de taille réelle et est orné de magnifiques meubles antiques. Accessoires intéressants d'illustration et antique donnent cette salle un aspect charmant. Cette salle a également une cheminée et un demi-bain dans la chambre. Un bain complet antique, y compris une baignoire à pieds griffe est situé juste à l'extérieur de la salle.

La Suite Grand est le plus grand de nos suites unique. Également située au deuxième étage, sa fenêtre de baie complète surplombe le beau jardin de "Fleur-de-Lis". La suite comprend un lit Queen cannonball, la cheminée et la salle de bains privée. Il possède également un lit de jour antique, niché dans une alcôve mise en surbrillance avec fretwork et vitrail. Cette salle peut accueillir une tierce personne.

Le Loft est notre plus grande suite dans la maison. Le loft composé de deux chambres, un salon et sa propre salle de bain privée, constitue l'intégralité du troisième étage. Il est devenu une des suites préférés de nos clients en raison de sa vie privée et le charme. Comme tous nos autres suites, il est décorée d'antiquités et pièces colorées de période. Plusieurs invités plus peuvent être satisfaites dans ce domaine à l'aide d'un rouleau-rangements ou lits gonflables. Le prix comprend l'hébergement pour 4. Il y a un petit exposé pour invités supplémentaires. Cette zone est idéale pour les familles.

Beautiful house and rooms. Bernie was extremely helpful and accommodating. Our room had a fireplace, comfortable bed and antique furniture. We felt like we had stepped back in time.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Morris Harvey House. The Innkeeper, Bernie, was very helpful and informative. He also cooks a wonderful breakfast! The room was comfortable and clean. The house itself has a lot of character and interesting history. The outside of the house does need some attention (painting of siding especially). Overall, very satisfied and would enjoy coming back!

Bernie is nature's quintessential host. Excellent place to stay and great restaurants within walking distance. We come here at least twice a year from Morgantown.
