Pratique de l'Interstate 81, le Blue Ridge Parkway et nombreuses attractions à proximité historique Lexington et Staunton. La suite est située dans la partie supérieure de notre maison avec une entrée privée par l'intermédiaire de la véranda à l'étage. Il comprend une chambre climatisée avec un lit double antique et une banquette-lit, cuisine entièrement équipée, salle de bains, soleil toute l'année chambre/coin chambre et véranda privée. Nous offrons un panier petit déjeuner en option avec les éléments pour le petit déjeuner sur votre propre. De la véranda, vous avez une vue de la cime des arbres de la ferme, les étang et les montagnes lointaines. Profitez de la ferme : randonnée, pêche, ramer le bateau, pique-nique, ou tout simplement se détendre sur la terrasse - et peut-être obtenir un aperçu de la faune.

With only one suite on the property you can truly relax. This well thought out suite offers something for everyone from walks, to rowing on the pond, to books and games, even well mapped out area attractions. The well stocked kitchen allows you to cook anything your heart desires.

My husband and I have many times enjoyed great hospitality and wonderful breakfasts at many B&Bs over the years. This time my husband did not read the web info carefully. If he had read it he would have seen that one enjoyable aspect of a B&B would not happen. The site does mention the optional breakfast basket. There is no mention of cost or what this basket would contain. Even though the setting is lovely, the absence of breakfast kept us from enjoying the innkeepers. There also is no close place to purchase a nice breakfast. We now tell people we went to a Bed. For the right people this might be the perfect place to stay but it should not be advertised as a B&B.

The optional breakfast basket has been clearly featured on both our website and on BedandBreakfast.com from the beginning. The price is posted under Rates. It is true that the contents of the basket are not detailed other than to say it contains items to prepare on your own in the fully equipped kitchen. Excellent location in a bucolic setting. Lends itself to short, scenic trips to explore Virginia's history and natural beauty. Private entrance with an inviting sun room that overlooks rolling hills and meadows with gorgeous mountain vistas. The hosts, Jean and Frank are hospitable and gracious. They are very knowledgeable about the area and offer suggestions for sightseeing and entertainment. We certainly will be repeat visitors.

Comment venir à la propriété:
Nous sommes à mi-chemin entre Staunton et Lexington, 2 et 1/2 km de la Raphine sortie 81 ab intestat. Prendre la sortie 205 (Raphine/Steeles Tavern) hors de l'Interstate 81 et vers l'ouest sur la Route 606 une très courte distance. Immédiatement après la bretelle de sortie lié vers le sud, tourner à droite sur la Route 917 (vieux B & O Rd). Aller environ 2 km jusqu'à ce que la route se termine par un « T ». Tournez à gauche sur la Route 620 (Spottswood Rd) et faire mille de 1/3. 956 Spottswood Rd est une maison de brique grand sur la gauche. Parc dans l'allée de la boucle devant la maison.
