    Our restored, spacious, 1909 Victorian farmhouse welcomes visitors to a beautiful valley. Watch the sun set over Old Rag mountain from the hot tub or the fields. Explore the farm and visit the cows, horses, pigs, chickens. Enjoy our fresh baked goods, eggs, produce, and meat from the farm. We practice sustainable farming, rotational grazing, pastured poultry, composting, recycling, line-drying.

    Ideal for a Wellness Retreat

    Just led a Wellness Retreat at Belle Meade Inn and farm for the second year in a row. The rooms in the Inn are large, clean and comfortable for my participants. Half the participants returned after their enjoyable stay last year. The country breakfast is a highlight with farm fresh eggs and sausage and breads and waffles made with many whole grains ground fresh daily! The school house serves as an ideal space with large windows with expansive mountain views for the yoga classes, cooking classes and herbal workshops conducted during the retreat. Mike and Susan are warm and welcoming hosts and enjoy sharing the farm and all the beauty and gift it has to offer from the many trails, animals as well as pool and hot tub. During the summer months the vegetable garden is in full swing. So don't bring your cooler so you can return home with farm fresh eggs, meat , honey and veggies! A wonderful nurturing and inspiring location at the foot of Old Rag Mountain and minutes from the entrance to Shenandoah National Park. Great for couples, families or those interested in leading retreats!

    breathtaking, serene getaway

    Upon driving up, Belle Meade was even more beautiful than we had imagined. This is an absolutely idyllic place, surrounded by the Shenandoah mountains and situated on a small, working farm with many happy animals. The house is really lovely and we stayed in the cottage, which was perfect. Susan and Mike were amazing hosts and it was great getting to know them. Really enjoyed just walking the grounds, saying hello to the animals, and taking in the pristine setting. Breakfast was made with their own eggs, susage & milk - freshest I've ever eaten! We fell in love with the area initially after visiting local vineyards and going to Skyline drive. After staying at Belle Meade though, we are planning to return even sooner with family, and have already recommended it to friends.

For cancellations within 14 days of the reservation, we will refund deposit minus a $25 dollar fee if the room is rebooked. The full deposit will be charged if the room is not rebooked.
